You PUFF!!!! That's NOT a BBQ................ This is a BBQ
  5. All the best to you both bud :duffer:
  6. Oooooo don't get me wrong, I travel 20 miles to work every day, on that route I travel along winding country lanes, main A roads, through two villages and into another town center. Oh yeah I might be noticed above the speed limit, while out in the country, on open stretches of A road, where it's safe, but not in town, or the two villages I pass through. I'll speed where I calculate it's safe to do so (I'm not perfect, nobody is) and saying all that, I've also got an SP30 (well it's just expired actually) ;) bad judgement and didn't see the 30zone sign :D
  7. "You do the crime, you serve the time" ;) You're lucky, that's 50% over the limit! Are you NUTS? It's 30 for a bloody good reason! Nothing is that important that you should be speeding through a 30 Zone, what happens if a kid runs into the road? Yes they shouldn't do it, yes their parents should teach them road safety, but they still do it! Right, that's the lecture over...... To answer your question, no it shouldn't affect you insurance, unless your previous points are still valid!
  8. Same here, but then I have been pulled for it, but simply 'bluffed' my way out of it with the old 'The regulation states that an imported car with different size number plate holders can have the appropriate size plate fitted' and he believed me and fooked off
  9. Post edited so as not to confuse anyone ;) And YES I stand corrected
  10. The one you can't see is infront of the rad under the lights center panel, as in this pic it can be seen under the air inlet hose...
  11. You haven't replied to mine yet!! ;) but I'm sure you've got it in hand
  12. Yes bud, that is correct :D And if you're in a digital area you could still use a Freeview box on the second set as well and get all the extra channels
  13. What, like this..........?
  14. Yep, that's correct! Well it is unless you just want the FreeSat channels, of which there are quite a few now (Channel list available >>http://www.freesatfromsky.co.uk/freesat-tv-choice.aspx), on the second box! Contrary to anything people claim on the internet, there are NO ways, currently, to get hold of Sky packages for FREE, especially now that they are bringing out another new SkyCard!
  15. Well, actually it's like this..................... lol Nah, best of luck with her bud, and get some pics up, as they say a picture paints a thousand words! Apparently ;)
  16. In short NO! You would need a roof mounted ariel, otherwise all you've got is one decoder that will only do one channel at a time, sorry. The same goes for Sky, one decoder, one channel! But with Sky you can install a second decoder (Sky Box) and watch different FreeSat channels. With a roof mounted ariel you will get a pass-through signal so that you can watch One to Five HTH Dave
  17. It's the start of the slippery slope now mate!!
  18. I blame Si, he started it!! :nelson::rolleyes:
  19. The best of luck in whichever way it goes for you Allan. I can sympathise with you on not knowing which way to turn especially with mine being the way she is at the moment (I even considered packing it all in and either selling to a breaker or trying to break her myself this week  until I struck her up the other day  ) Anyway, see what your findings are and, as you say, work from there it's the only way forward IMO all the best with it.
  20. No prob bud, I read this and thought, 'I'm sure it's in the engine bay' so went and had a look for you ;)
  21. You little tinker Si, you never let on you were doing all of that!!:slap:
  22. So is that 'You're considering them' then Si?? ;)
