  1. Well I'm not really sure, and it's too dark out there to see for sure, but hopefully this'll help you a bit. And if you don't receive an answer by the morning I'll look then for you. Dave
  2. Thanks Chris, If she doesn't sell as she is, then I'll have no choice but to keep her, as I'm sure a professional breaker wouldn't give me much at all. As for loosing me as well, we'll see ;) It won't be easy coming on here knowing I no longer have her, but I'm sure I wont be able to stay away long :D
  3. Thanks all  I know, I've even got a replacement set of turbos, but I don't have the facilities to sort it, and I'm broke! This will be the end of Zed ownership for good, I'll never be able to have another one I'm really so ****ing pissed off at the moment, it hurts!
  4. Cheers guys, it's appreciated.... Right, full list of problems with Eliza, that I’m aware of; Mechanical; No Turbo boost (needle moves through the – section but will not go beyond 0) Left-hand o2 sensor needs replacing Oil leak from rear of bell housing (probably the rear crank seal) Left-hand CAT overheat wire cut PCV Valves need replacing Exterior; Front bumper craked/split 'Z' badge missing Almost all the lacquer has come off the bonnet area, would need to be re-lacquered Dent in OSR wing OSR Sill return and wheel arch are rusting NSR Sill return starting to rust Wheels lacquer peeling Also she doesn’t have a current MOT
  5. For good :( Having checked out my position tonight, I can no longer afford to do anything to Eliza. So as she is just sitting there decaying slowly, she's got to go. It's not a position I want to be in, but being real here I think it's the only thing I can do.... I'm really not happy writing this right now. I'll put up a proper For Sale add in a bit, but to be honest I really don't see anyone wanting it in it's current state, and in the current financial climate. And before anyone says, I can't break her because I have nowhere to do it, although I know I'd get more for her that way.
  6. So looks like we'll all have to either super-glue them or buy complete new units. Dave
  7. Yeah they sent me the paperwork last week for it. This could be the first time Eliza has been out and about this year ;) but don't expect much as the body and wheels will look crap :(
  8. Sorry, but it still could be, because this is what happened to mine, the immobiliser worked fine, except that it didn't allow the fuel pump circuit to work! Either way it's investigation time ;)
  9. Same here bud, most of my previous experience has been with Fords, and you're right about the prices, can't believe how much rusty Ford tin fetches these days  Anyway, you got any pics? :D
  10. Yes guys as soon as they reply (IF they reply) I'll let you all know. That's funny, as I tried that last night ;) but it still looks shite! :(
  11. Really pleased Phil that it has gone into the hands of a decent owner, well done bud  Now get some good pics up :D
  12. Thanks for that Paul, didn't think about that one ;) (I've even got the original box they came in with the web address on it!) I've sent them a message, see what they reply. Dave
  13. Cheers Chris I appreciate your help on this. Hmmmm, it's strange that they are stuck on, but if that's the case, then I probably wont be able to get new ones :( and I'm not buying new clears again.
  14. That would be appreciated bud, thanks
  15. From the engine bay shot it looks like your battery is not clamped down! Probably because the battery is short and the previous owner couldn't make the clamp bolts go any lower so binned it! Looks a nice tidy motor all the same
  16. Does anyone know if you can obtain new rubber seals for the side repeaters? I have some clear ones fitted and they have both split :( got the old orange ones out this afternoon and they seem to be glued on, so don't want to pull too hard in case I damage them and then can't get hold of any replacements ie; the orange ones will have to go back on! All info appreciated ;) Dave
  17. Don't let Si see this   Welcome Dave, yep nice tidy looking example, gota get that interior sorted though:D lol
  18. Oh yeah, welcome to the club ;)
  19. Have you got an immobiliser fitted? It's possible that this could cause the problem you are describing, I had it on mine and took a while to realise what it was. As for getting to your fuel pump it's under the spare wheel, there is an access panel. If it is the immobiliser then there is a relatively simple way to by-pass it, but I'm not posting on an open public forum where and how. If it comes to this, let me know and I'll do it via e-mail. HTH Dave
  20. As the ones on the front wings? The indicators on the Venoms, are they LED's? Seem to remember they are, if so that could possible be your problem, although I'd of thought that they should just flash faster (as the relay will see it as no rear bulb, a resistance issue) you could possible need a Flasher Resistor pack (easily off eBay) although I'd of thought that the lights should of come as a complete instal package! Contact the supplier and see what they have to say. HTH Dave
  21. Here.. http://cgi.ebay.co.uk/NISSAN-300-ZX-FAIRLADY_W0QQitemZ140323460044QQcmdZViewItemQQptZAutomobiles_UK?hash=item20abee13cc&_trksid=p3286.c0.m14&_trkparms=72%3A1683%7C66%3A2%7C65%3A12%7C39%3A1%7C240%3A1318%7C301%3A0%7C293%3A1%7C294%3A50
  22. This is where it should go to (Mines a red hose) And as far as I can tell it should go to here (sorry the pic isnt any better, but the sun is very bright) HTH Dave
