  1. Thanks bud, I will :D :hammer:
  2. Only if it's compatible with what you already have :D
  3. Thanks Ian, appreciated bud, just got to find the money first :D I would but my current motherboard is playing up (one reason for the change). I did a BIOS update and I think I fooked it up, so it's now a complicated method of loading Windows. So the motherboard is dodgy, the ram is fine (2Gb) as are the two hard drives (once everything has been swapped over and then wipped) So it's not a system as I'm stiil going to use the processor and heatsink.
  4. .... for people who know what they are talking about ;) Right, I'm going to re-build my PC (again) but would like someone to confirm my combination. I've currently got a Core 2 Quad Q6600 (2.40GHz,1066FSB,L2:2X4MB,rev.G0,4 cores) of which I'm wanting to re-use, along with my current Arctic-Cooling Freezer 7 Pro Heatsink / Fan. To this I want to add..... the ASUS SKT 775 P5G41T-M INTEL G41 MICRO ATX MOTHERBOARD, along with 8Gb (2 x 4Gb) Kingston 1333 DDR3 4 GB PC3-10600 DIMM RAM. I've currently got an LG bluRay/HD DVD drive (sata) and am considering adding 2 x 2Tb sata hard drives (to replace my existing 80Gb and 300Gb IDE drives) in addition to my existing sata 80Gb drive (OS/Programmes) I'm currently running Windows 7 in 32Bit, but am able (and willing) to re-install with the 64Bit version. Incidentally I use my main TV as my monitor (DVI to HDMI currently, but the new board has dedicated HDMI out) and all sound goes through an optical S/PDIF connection (also dedicated on new board) to my surround system. Two questions..... 1) As far as I can tell all the components are compatable with each other, so can anyone see any problems? 2) Will I have any problems with upgrading to the 64Bit system, programmes and/or existing files? TIA Dave
  5. Under their profile picture there should be the following..... Wall Info Photos Notes Friends so it should be the third one down. Otherwise click on their profile picture and once opened the option to "View Photos" should be next to their user name above the photo. HTH
  6. So come on then Glynn, what was your original user name? Mac is the Chairman here now Munster left some time ago (shame) Paul C is still about Mike "The Sheep".... who? SMW, yep Stu pops in from time to time and Pete Shrimp also pops in on the odd occasion. My user name has changed, it used to be daves_new_ZX, you may, or probably may not remember me :D Welcome back anyway, hope all goes well with the Zed
  7. Dulux would of been proud of it :scared:
  8. White paint!!!! :lol::lol:
  9. Yeah, probably something similar to the one I'll have when I get back into a Zed :D
  10. Thanks for that one Pete, I thought that was the case :D You never know, I might find this info out first hand one day ;)
  11. Nice to see you've got things sorted Tony. Good one Jeff ;)
  12. Sorry that was what I was trying to get across to you, everything forward of the A pillar is the same, as is the rear suspension. So that's engine, gear box, front suspension, rear suspension, all dash and engine bay electrics. Items such as prop shaft, exhaust and rear body panels are different, not sure about the fuel tank. HTH Dave
  13. Center console, seats and A pillar forward, not sure about the doors. Pretty sure everything rear of this is different. HTH Dave Correction... Rear suspension is the same I believe :D
  14. A free bump, and link to Group Buy.... http://www.300zx.co.uk/forums/showthread.php?t=148837
  15. I still recon it's a scam! Why would you pay massively over the odds, just to give to a charity! Why not simply go out and buy a new iPad2 then donate to the charity yourself, subsequently not giving this guy a huge profit for doing feck-all!
  16. Well clearly the buyer is mental then! :nono:
  17. Is he mental or what?
  18. I think the fact that the auction is still live answers a few people's questions and statements on this thread ;)
  19. I still haven't got around to watching season 1 yet, saying that though I do have up to episode 10 of season 2 already on the computer :D
  20. Datsun headlights and caravan rears!! ;)
  21. PM Peach, I'm sure he'll give you some good advice regarding whats good and not!
  22. The seats are relatively simple to take apart, although you'll end up with a lot of skin missing and maybe a finger!! I'd suggest contacting someone like Jeff at ZedWorld and see if he has a drivers seat going cheap. Doesn't matter if it matches you current one, as all you need to do is remove the back part from the replacement and cover it with your current fabric. Hey presto, seat fixed. If you mention to Jeff what it is you're trying to do, he may even have a damaged seat that'll sort you out!! You never know unless you ask. HTH Dave
  23. That looks more like some Muppets have exploded inside that car!! :D
  24. It's funny you say that because another well known member from a few years back always took photos of the rear of his silver Zed, as he seemed to prefer it!! Nice looking Zed bud, but as stated can we have some of the front as well :D
  25. I knew a girl like that once.......... (insert your own joke there!!)
