Tom Wrigglesworth's Open Letters
I was sat in our company Mondeo yesterday at Melton station waiting for a colleague to arrive, so was flicking through the radio channels trying to find something worth listening to. I just happened to press the Radio 4 button (I was just doing it in order) and I heard a comedian doing his stuff, so carried on listening to it. Well my colleague arrived and bugged up listening to the rest of it. As I thought it sounded pretty good I decided to see if it was available on the Radio 4 website, and it was, so I've just finished listening to all of it.... thoroughly enjoyed it, and I'd recommend it to anyone who doesn't need to see an artist to be able to enjoy a good comedy show. The show was (as titled above) Tom Wrigglesworth's Open Letters, Radio 4 18:30 on a Thursday. Last night's was episode 2 of 4, and if you fancy giving it a try the link is... http://www.bbc.co.uk/programmes/b00y92mb

part number required please
Your best bet would be to contact Mike Feeney at MJP (in our Traders section) as he supplies OEM parts at good prices. You can either post in his section, or phone him which personally is always the best option, as talking directly is better. HTH Dave

I took my hose off to gain proper access to the screws. As for a loom, if you hard-wire it using the info/pictures in the link I posted then you wont need anything else other than what you've already got. getting hold of an adaptor loom will be very difficult, if not impossible. Dave

To show that I do work......
We had no testing to do today, so as I was bored in the office, I just decided to take our Class 47 loco out for a run!! :D Joyriding on the railway! Class  Although due to the high winds I decided to keep the speed down a bit. Might take it out again tomorrow if I get the chance, still no testing to do, in fact I'm not on testing all week as I'm fetching two brand new trains in later in the week.

Hawaii Five-0 2010
When they retired, Steve McGarrett and Dano opened a nightclub. During the day they would audition new acts for the evening shows. I bet you can't guess what Steve would say if he really liked one of the acts at the auditions?........ :D

Hawaii Five-0 2010
Well it seems no one is going to get this (or their not bothered! ;) ) In the opening titles you see a battleship, which is the USS Missouri. This ship was the one used for Steven Seagals movie Under Siege. Late 60's/early 70's cop show.... http://www.imdb.com/title/tt0062568/

To show that I do work......
That was at the end of the days testing. I hadn't got the chance earlier in the day as there was noise in the cab, and different testing going on, then at the end they wanted two straight high speed runs. The job can be boring at times, but then at others you don't have time to scratch your :asshole:  At least I get out in the fresh air, which has always been nice in all my railway career.

To show that I do work......
It sure is. Normally whenever it's mentioned that we are the Old Dalby test track, that's the first thing most people say! :D

To show that I do work......
Yep, it sure is a test track, all 13 miles of it. We use it for different types of testing, but to all intents and purposes it just looks like any normal railway. Withcall, Louth I take it you mean? nope, never heard, but Google Maps is my friend ;)

Tunnels!! We have two large tunnels, both at just over 1300 yards each, so I edited the out ;)

To show that I do work......
Some would say that I only ever 'turn up' at work, rather than actually do any! ;) Well this footage was taken by me, whilst I was driving one of our test trains last year. No I wasn't holding the camera, it was on a steady mount on the opposite side of the cab. Anyway, two clips (one Northbound, one Southbound), at 10 minutes long each. The Northbound one reaches 100mph at about 5:40 into the clip and reaches 97mph at around 5:10 in the Southbound clip before having to brake down to 90mph for the curve. I hope you find it as fascinating as other people who I've shown it to, as it's surprised them into what actually happens while you drive a train at speed. are we alone in the universe??
I'm not saying that it is a hoax, but if it was... Easy to fake, so it's from two different people and from two different angles, doesn't mean a thing. Both parties could be running to a pre-determined script, then the 'light' superimposed onto the video later, then converted into a lesser quality format and uploaded to youtube, or wherever you want! You could even put them back onto your camcorder so as to present as 'evidence' Saying all that, and as said above, there is no way that we are on the only inhabited planet, there could very easily be other habital worlds out there, and they would also have some form of life on them.

1999 Version S Question
Your wish is my command...... ;) This pic is the rear of a standard UK 300ZX radio/cassette, it shows two black sockets for DIN plugs to go into. The one on the left is a five pin socket which a standard UK (and probably other market) single CD player would plug into, and on the right is a eight pin socket which both of those US CD players I've picture would fit into. It would appear the US head unit would only take a eight pin plug. HTH Dave

friggin door cards!!
You can do it with the window up, it's not as easy and you can't screw the 'B' pillar trim back on at the top (as the screw hole is behind the glass), but it can be done

friggin door cards!!
What I meant was...If Baz puts the door card back on with the window down, hows he going to get to the motor to power it back up?? :D
