  1. Anybody that wasn't lucky enough to get in on Vijay's Group-Buy of Indiglo Dials, then take a look and put your name down on this Group-Buy instead >> http://www.300zx.co.uk/forums/showthread.php?t=67839 (Don't forget, Group-Buys are only for subscribed members) Looks like this is going ahead now, but more names are needed. These look very good, and at only £60 a set well worth a try, so come on get your names down :D MODs, sorry for the blatent plug, but I'd like mine sometime THIS year ;)
  2. :D  It's got 1997 on the packaging, but 1990 on the bottom of the car! This one can go with my 1/43 silver one and the 1/24 red 99 spec. Looking like I'm collecting die-cast ones now. I'm told that these Matchbox ones are quite rare  especially in this condition, absolutley mint :D
  3. Here you go...... Pictures.... Just click away :D
  4. I'm still keeping my red one, as I'll be useing it as my daily driver. I'll only bring the new one out on VERY special occasions. Having a few probs with the phot editing, so can't re-size pics, and they are too big to post. She's an all white, SWB Targa topped TT import, with a ZX graphic down the side, 18" alloys, and black leather interior. She's got no mods that I'm aware of, just as she came out of the factory.
  5. When i went down to karens this weekend, I discovered that my main birthday present had arrived for me.................. a new 300ZX!!!!!!! I was in shock, that Karen had gone to so much trouble for me, arranging all the purchasing and delivery of the car, so that it would be waiting for me when i turned up. Alas it wasn't possible for it to be there on my Birthday, but two days later is still very special. It was sat there just waiting for me, as if no one had ever touched it, it was so clean and sparkling, just like the day it was manufactured! I would just like to thank Karen so much for this extra special present, and to go so much out of her way, to surprise me like this    I'll post some pictures sortly, just got to re-size them first.
  6. Wasn't me either :D Oi!!! ;)
  7. Looks nice, but then always nice to see a 99 spec ;) Just one little thing though, get a smaller number plate :D makes all the difference
  8. Oooooooooooooo he has been busy then, as mine turned up yesterday as well :D What a top bloke
  9. I beleive it's real...... Here is a pic of the same Volvo from another site..... If you do a google image search for Volvo Lowrider, you'll also find two other pics from different angles of the same Volvo, but the site isnt responding at the moment (http://www.tuningfever.com)
  10. Yep, that about sums it up
  11. Well I think they are fantastic, might do that to mine :d Nah!!!! :D Only joking     After looking at the first one, I'd have said PhotoShop!!, in fact I'd still say Photoshop after looking at all of them, looks like someone has gone to a lot of trouble to alter the photos! IMHO ;)
  12. Not seen the boxing for the second two before, but then they are just the standard Fujimi Z32 kit, which is very good. As for the first one, now they are rare, although they do pop up on e-bay regular. It has metal parts and at 1/12 scale, is a fair size, but not at that price ;)
  13. Thanks guys........ Thanks VERY much for reminding me  ;)
  14. Mick, your car looks absolutley fantastic mate      I'll be glad when I finally get my 99 rear spoiler painted and on, but yours looks stunning!!!! BTW, you need HID's and some Ultra White bulbs in the other front places :D

  20. Not done mine yet, still waiting for some bits to arrive ;), have a look through the service manual, at this page >> http://300zx-twinturbo.com/cgi-bin/manual.cgi?list=br&dir=&config=&refresh=&direction=forward&scale=0&cycle=off&slide=5&design=default&total=56 Give it a good read, as the previous link is written for the US, so is Lefthand drive!! :D HTH
  21. Great idea, I've just spent over £2k in the last few weeks alone :D and I've not finished yet either

  24. Front seats are straight forward, four bolts each, and electrical connectors for electric seat and for seat belt claps, other than that no problem. Raer seats are even easier, for the back it's ..... drop seat forward, prise up boot carpet, then remove four 10mm bolts, then remove seat back. For the base, pull up from the front, as there are just two pull-clips holding it at the front, and nothing at the rear. Then you can get access to the rear section of the carpet. For the sides, you have to remove the tread plates in the doorways. Now comes the tricky part, you've got to remove the centre consol to remove the carpet completely..... To remove radio console... 2 x Phllpis screws behind trim plate above radio. 2 x Phillips screws behind 2 little plastic fill pieces either side of top fixed vent Once all out, prise plate forward gently, then remove the clok wiring. Hopefully radio is fixed to the proper mounting plate behind and NOT attached to the front plate!. Place in a safe place. Remove ash tray (pulls up) remove screw below this, also remove the two screws at the front, below the radio section. Then gently lift this away , but first dissconnecting the electrical connections for the electric mirrors (if you have them) and cigar lighter etc. To remove the centre armrest console.... Follow order of removing items as in the pic attached.... 1) Pulls off. 2) Two screws in middle, and two screws at the bottom. 3) Two screws behind item 2 above, and two below the centre (gear stick) panel. 4) No need to remove this one..... 5) Very tricky, two nuts underneath, then remove the righthand side screw inside that attaches to the lowering dampener. Then twist box to remove it. 6) Two screws behind glove box that you have just removed, and two screws below gear stick panel. 7) Lift lid, pull carpet piece from the front to reveal four screws, remove these and then the two at the front of the section just to the rear of the gear stick. You should now have access to all of the carpet. I'm not sure if you need to remove anything else, as I've never removed the carpet, but I think anything else that may be in the way will be self-explanetery from this point on. Hope that all helps
  25. A close-up, but a bit fuzzy!
