  1. Full How-To for the removal of door cards... >>http://www.300zx.co.uk/forums/showthread.php?t=30098 HTH
  2. Halfruads do them as well. Yep!! Not as many as mine, I've got a bluetooth hands free kit wired into my stereo wiring!!
  3. Not that I'm aware of, unless someone has done what had been done to mine, and that is to have a pair wired in. You could always buy a converter from Halfruads, probably about £10ish
  4. You have to find some VERY nice person to do one for you, or try it yourself :D Or unless you're very lucky and find one for sale... and I mean VERY LUCKY!!
  5. R and S spec interiors.. R spec interior... 1999 options... R spec exterior :D
  6. A genuine 1999 rear panel lite, with the red one, not lite, in the background... My own (soon to be replaced by a replica 99 spec one, again in red) version that I built last year, that has since deteriorated, and is also now showing hairline cracks....
  7. There you go then, obviously the first owner of your 1990 one requested the option, and the first owner of your 1991 one didn't!
  8. OK guys, for those that don't already know......... In Japan ONLY there was a factory fit option of the rear panel being lite. This was ONLY available in GREEN, any other colour is a modded version. The factory ones are quite a robust (read Over Engineered!!!) unit, but they work on the same priciple as the modded ones, which is an Electroluminescent strip (two sheets, one which is positive and one negative, sandwhiched together) this receives a voltage of 110 volts AC across the sheet which then lights up. This voltage is received from the inverter (12vdc in 110vac out) which will get it's power supply from the lighting circuit somewhere. With the aftermarket modded ones, you can choose whatever colour you like. Another point to note..... Original OEM ones just have the outline of the 300ZX illuminated, but the factory ones from 1999 have the centre of the 300ZX illuminated (again only in GREEN, but I have seen a RED one) and the outline silver!
  9.     @ the filter
  10. Happy Birthday guys :duffer: :duffer:
  11. Congrates from me as well, :duffer: :duffer:
  12. Well I must be missing somthing, because I think it's a disgrace to our national team and the REAL legends that have been in our team. It's just headline grabbing again, and doesn't make Englands reputation any better to the rest of the world when a 'player' for us has to resort to that sort of tactics. It may have been funny in a comedy sense and at a different time, but not representing our national team! I think it's a fookin disgrace!
  13. Bromide is what you need!!!! :D Congrates mate, all the best from karen and myself :duffer: :duffer:
  14. That doesn't even look like it'll fit properly. It looks like some sort of front/back hybrid  The strut mounts look very flimsy, with hardly any strength in them at all! I like mine, although one like AndyP's or the Carbing one would be even better
  15. PS, It's NOT $150 shipped to the UK, thats for the US! It's cost me US$203 shipped over!
  16. From this guy in the States >> http://www.300zxclub.com/showthread.php?t=77048 (if you have access to 300zxclub.com, if not give me a shout and I'll give you some more details) I've had the HID's for a while now, I'm chuffed that I've finally been able to order these inserts  These are from the first batch of them, and if all goes according to plan I'll do a report and we can see what they are like. Hopefully they won't take too long to turn up, and I can have them in the car ready for JAE, or even JAPS at the beginning of July.
  17. ...... a pair of these :D :hyper: Going to have them chromed once I receive them :D Ooooo full 99 spec replica on it's way
  18. This would depend if it's a standard alloy, or aftermarket? As my new ones weigh a fookin ton!! :D
  19. TBH I thought it was 30mph, only ever had mine working around 70mph :D Nope, it was an option.
  20. Just seen this over on 300zxclub.com....... :D
  21. Sorry chaps, but not this time :( Eliza should actuallybe in the paintshop at the time!!! getting ready for Japfest :D
  22. Wasn't meant to shut you up :D It was meant to show that they arn't the rust-buckets that a lot of people think. There is a huge following/fan base for all of the Fords, just the same as with the Zed, probably a different league though ;)
  23. Wether you like Fords or not, they are still producing thousands of cars, and people are still buying them! On the comment of "but show me a 13 year old ford that is in as good nick as a 13 year old Zed", well actually I could probably show you a hell of a lot. Fords biggest problem is that they rust and so do UK/European spec Zeds! So the differance is??????? Nissan do mass market cars just as Ford do, and Ford have also done their own high performance cars, normally based on normal production cars, but they are still there non-the-less. As for it looking like a Mazda, I'm not surprised at all, they do own a huge share in them. Yes, you might have guessd that I've owned Fords before, in fact I'm just getting rid of my 10 year old Escort, that's done me proud for the last 3 years. I've also owned Capris (2.8i's and 1.6's) I've also owned an XR4i (original 3 door) which was in stunningly good condition when I bought it, there was still not a mark on it when I sold it at 16 years old!! Everything was original (except service items)!! Show me a Zed that is 16 years old with all it's original items still in good condition (excluding service items) Stands down from soap box ;) BTW I like the looks of the car :D
  24. OK, thanks guys, I thought as much. Hmmmm, I wonder if I can get away with an air-bag one, but without the air-bag inside it?? Anyone know??
  25. On the series two onwards, the steering wheel was given the option of an air-bag, so does this mean that the same, updated, wheel was also available without an air-bag, or did they revert back to the old series one version? (if you see what I mean?) Series One >> Series Two >> TIA Dave
