Right, remove the left vent plate (door shut area) unscrew the outter trim panel, remove the two 10mm nuts at the underside of the glove box, this allows it to drop to get side panel off. Then you can get at the right hand side screw that holds on the glove box dampener, jiggle it about a bit and it'll come out. Remove the metal plate and you have access to the lefthand side panel for the centre consol. Hope all that makes sense, it will when you're in there doing it. :D
  4. I'd always change a gasket for a new one, as you'll be disturbing it to replace the bracket. As for auto or manual versions, I'd assume that the auto one is a differant shape to avoid something, so if you've changed to a manual then I'd go for whichever one is cheaper :D if you see what I mean. As an auto will have more things down there than a manual, so it'll be shaped differant, but will still do the same job as the manual one. Get whoever you're buying them from to check the prices first. HTH
  5. As long as they are looked after, then they'll be as reliable as anyother car on the road. I've had mine for two and half years now, and no major problems. The biggest thing is never knowing how it's been treated by previous owners, but then that could be the same for any vehicle.
  6. works fin for me Except ^ Where you miss a letter out, and it still spells another word, but like has been said, so does Word Spell checker. Nice and useful find Andy
  7. Happy Birthday bud, as above hope to see you at Thoresby Hall

  13. Well I wish you all the best with that bud. How long before you get her back?

  19. As above, anyone know what has happened to 300zxclub.net, the US site? Been trying to get in, using my usual stored address, but without any luck
  20. Totally Non-Zed :D I've mentioned it in the past, that I used to own a lovely example of an original 3-Door Sierra XR4i, well I've just found the negative of the only photo I ever took of it (photo has been missing a long time) As I've just aquired a new Epson Photo scanner, with Negative scanning, I thought that I'd scan it and post it on here :D So ...............
  21. Rob, there isnt a saparate fuse for the passenger side window regulator. All the power is run off the drivers side main circuit, and controlled through the drivers side switch unit, with a mirroring switch on the passenger side. Page BF-12 is the power supply circuit diagram for the power windows, in the Body section of the workshop manual (sorry I can't give you a link to it, as I don't know where it is anymore (it used to be, and could still be, on this site somewhere)) HTH EDIT** And with the help of the guys below...... The actual page >> http://300zx.co.uk/cgi-bin/manual.cgi?list=bf&dir=&config=&refresh=&direction=forward&scale=0&cycle=off&slide=12&design=default&total=46
  22. Hi bud, spotted you approaching the new(ish) roundabout on the A46 @ about 09:10 this morning. Didn't get the chance to flash, as didn't see you till the last second :D
  23. :D Hi bud!! Only just spotted you.
  24. Thanks Greg, but I couldn't find a suitable size bolt to do that, and as for the fronts, I was hammering **** out of them with a rubber mallet, and not one bit did they move, so it's gona go to my mechanic once them ss hoses are sorted, and he can do the bits for me. More expense, but at least it'll be sorted.
