  1. What do you recon to these.... (yep they arn't the 300ZX ones, but you get the idea) And when switched off..... So how would you like a set for YOUR ZX?? @ only £64.99?? YES?? Then get your names down on this Group-Buy>>> http://www.300zx.co.uk/forums/showthread.php?t=72313 (Normal group-buy rules apply) Thank you. ;)
  2. I suppose you must, otherwise why would you change it
  3. Yep they are standard J-Spec '89 to '98 ones. But why change from a 99 spec front to one of those?
  4. That is absolute first class
  5. As above, you know what I mean!!! We don't need them here, or anywhere, so if you ignore them, then they might just fook off back to their sad little pathetic lives. After all it is only half term, so only another few days left.

    Same here :D
  7. That really is pretty Mark   My favourite touch is the anodised red Allen heads on the throttle bodies  Very, very, very nice mate
  8. No problem, AH3 is my code, Cherry Red Pearl HTH Thanks for all the nice comments, hope to get some better pics in some decent sunshine. Still got a couple of bits to do to her yet though, Black tape along the swag line, re-fit the mud spats, new rear centre panle and then the new 99 spec headlights, should be about complete then :D
  9. You've never struck me has an headbanger!!!!  :nono: :mac1:

I was seriously considering it this year, but Karen won't do it, so I'm paying out for the hotel instead, but at least it's next door, so won't have to stagger to far ;)
  11. Been out this afternoon taking a few pics of the car, now that she is painted and the spoiler is on. Rain stopped play on the first location. Was hoping to have the sun on her with a black rain cloud, complete with streaks of rain, in the background, but lost the sun as soon as I parked :headvswal Then rain stopped play at the second location, again lost the sun immediately! Anyway, hope you like them.... BTW, don't know why some are bigger than others, as they were all uploaded to Photobucket at the same time and same size (1000 x 750), gona have to find a better storage facility. First location.. Second location...
  12. From this guy in the States >> http://www.300zxclub.com/showthread.php?t=77048 (if you have access to 300zxclub.com, if not give me a shout and I'll give you some more details) But since all this kicked off there has been a lot of crap over it on the forum (300zxclub, not ours) So like I say, I'll do a full report on these, with a view to either one of our traders importing them, or setting up a small group buy for them, or something like that. For now though, lets just wait untill they turn up  and make sure that they fit first, as so far I've not seen any that have been fitted and as far as I know nobody has!!
  13. Ducts from inside the wings I beleive
  14. The chrome parts may help a little, but other than that I doubt it, but then I've got HIDs anyway  so effectively making them the same as the proper 99 specs. These arn't cheap, but then neither are proper ones. HIDs = £300 (or in the region of) Inserts = £130 (delivered) So approx £430 Whereas real 99 spec HIDs are just over £1000, so a good saving of over 50%
  15. Wish I was going on holiday :(
  16. Not much of an update really, apart from the inserts that I purchased at the beginning of May should be being shipped over from the States this coming week. These ones.. For the people that I've been talking to regarding these, I've done some checking and they are defo NOT all chrome inside, as my pic demonstrates... Once my inserts turn up I'll put more info on here, and hopefully have them on the car in time for JAPS and defo in time for JAE.
  17. I wish I'd gone onto the VRBs now, as I feel shite this morning :hurl: Thing is, I normally do as well, and, as vigilante put, then you can't get to sleep, it's all the bloody caffine in it. I'm currently trying not to :hurl: and typing with one hand and it's taking ages  'Oh, the thumping of the keys!!' :nono: Never again (well untill next time anyway;) )
  18. Wiring diag >> http://300zx.co.uk/cgi-bin/manual.cgi?list=el&dir=&config=&refresh=&direction=forward&scale=0&cycle=off&slide=57&design=default&total=133 Relay check proceedure >> http://300zx.co.uk/cgi-bin/manual.cgi?list=el&dir=&config=&refresh=&direction=forward&scale=0&cycle=off&slide=61&design=default&total=133 You may/should be able to open up the relay unit if it fails the checks, and try to see if you can find what is wrong. Failing all that, bin it and get a good one from a scrapper/breaker local to yourself. HTH
  19. ???????????? I looked into Dialaphone when I was looking, and, although I only checked out the Orange tariff at the time, I found that it was on an 18 month contract, and the tariff quoted on their web page was about £5/month higher than everyone else! Which equates to £90 you're paying extra to Dialaphone (which is probably around the cost price to them) So you're not getting it for free! But saying that it's still a good deal and a bargain if you want one. Like i say, i did look in to it, but as I don't play games all that much I dismissed it.
  20. DTA do a decent amount of stainless/silicon. http://www.dta-motorsport.co.uk/index2.htm - Scroll down page ZCentre do the hard pipes as well , http://www.zcentre.co.uk/shop/product_info.php?cPath=21_84&products_id=193 And Smithy does the replacement silicon hosing for the rest of it, http://www.smithys-place.co.uk/engenh.php - scroll down page. HTH
  21. I'm sure once it's all done, you'll love it and won't be able to wait to drive it again. Best of luck to you Si, now get it done before JAE :D
  22. Thats funny, so do I :D (Well one of my own anyway)
  23. I bet you are
  24. Sounds like the 'Bulb Out' circuit to me. Position = Directly left of steering colum, bank of six lamps, bottom left of these, red filter??!! If so then, as above, it's you Bulb out circuit, if it's on constantly, then probably a fault in the relay. You should find this attached to the rear righthand rear lamp cluster behind the panel in the boot. Check all the bulbs first though, then you'll have to check the relay unit, or replace it. HTH
