HEHE this is a very good read :) it does make you wonder wether we are NOT meant to win and do some things though... as much as we might not like to agree..... other than that im glad your door is ok and more glad it wasn't a seagull that crashed into your car, wouldn't like to think of the damage there

thats what i was worried about and felt liek im abandoning it. but the fact is i dont have the meds to treat it :( They did say they have administered it into the Vets and so is officially a patient. Seeing as sparrows are rare and this one is more calm im hoping they make an effort. feel really tearful now and really worried

I was preparing my BMW for sale by cleaning the car and was finishing off the wheels when a Sparrow was walking around me as i kneeled down. It kept circling me at first and so i went into my house to see if it would fly off. Well it didn't fly off, it kept following me around the garden and everywhere i went. I was about to get into my car to get something from halfords and it jumped in with me on my lap. I was very shocked and slightly scared at first but then i noticed it had half of its tail feathers missing and one of its eye closed and looking sore. I was shocked that it wasn;t scared of me and in fact seemed at peace around me. I decided to go indoors and get an open bucket and some bread and make my way to the Vets. Followed me out of the car and back in aswell. I do have a cat and wondered if this was the case but it wasn;t bleeding and had no signs of Wounds. WHenever i went to drive it would try to jump on my knee and so i had to open my hand so that i could life it to the bucket. It always went on my hand when i opened it so again. was shocked. To be honest by the time i rang RSPCA i had grown fond of it and wanted the best for it. RSPCA told me to take it to vet as all vets have a OBLIGATION to treat small animals like birds and insects. Took it to vets and they said they will see how it goes tonight as they want to try and heal its eye and feed it. They said that birds can get stressed and have heart attacks and die but she did notice it wasn;t bothered by humans and so has a much better chance of accepting treatment without getting too stressed. Here are the pics. Apologise for the gloves as i first thought it would bite me but was harmless enough that i didnt need the gloves. Washed hands properly though and was told i would recieve calls for progress updates

i would prefer to spend my money with Zedworld though so will give it a try. i think he only sells anything gearbox related when it is in a conversion package which was their reply last time i ordered a something small for my conversion.. worth a shot though i guess UPDATE: Jeff has some second hand ones for £65 but with nissans ones i have to spend £20 getting to kent and back whereas Jeff's include delivery. next issue is i was about to get them from Zedworld but i need them to get to the garage by tomorrow to reach my deadline of Thursday and Zedworlds bolts would get there thursday before 1pm which Carl at D2 said is pushing it rather too close for my deadline. Decisions, decisions now :( both cost around the same when you think of the travel i would have to do with getting Nissans bolts but with nissan i can atleast get them to darren by tomorrow...... hmmmm

nissan quoted me £50 for 8 inclusive of VAT :)

Gearbox conversion has come to a holt as my bolts form the auto are too small and skinny. i reckon they supplied the auto bolts with my conversion kit :( need 8 Flywheel bolts to connect flywheel to crankshaft. i think they have 14mm Heads for the spanner. in desperate need :( where can i get some?

just bought a Falcon EVO 4 car alarm and before looking for fitters i thought i would post and see if any of you would be up for the job. money involved of-course and i can bring the car to your place. thought i would try my luck before going ahead with quotes

can;t remember off the top of my head but do the 300's come with second Ignition position (ACC II) for heaters & aircon? or is it only 1 ignition?

nope. my insurance just asked if i had an alarm/immobilizer but didnt say as to what make or catagory so im just fitting it for a bit of protection

i dont mind it taking me a day or two if it is atleast possible. want alot of things at the same time so need the budget route :)

Got a Turbo Timer in my car which was their since i bought it but disconnected as the last owner said it mucked about with the Immobilizer and cart wouldn't start. Does anyone know where i should connect it up properly?

is is also easy to fit an electronic boost gauge? i dont have a boost controller and have no idea where to fit it via the electrical way :(

Im deaperate though as.ive got.a car that hasnt ran right for a year and can hardly enjoy especially as it struggles to go above 60mph without crawling up.

I trust them alot and hope they will find it. Time will tell i guess but if they can solve what no other garage can then not only will they make me a very happy man but i will be taking my car to no one but them for anything. I cant wait to do my rebuild with them in future :)
