  1. it does get rather hot but it was a laugh at the time... i thought one of my friends started to look like donnie darko....... Just glad the tights were brand new otherwise the heat and sweat might of made them smell funky if they were used!
  2. we usually go Quazar once a week down rayleigh with 6-8 of us however one of our mates decided to buy some tights (we prayed they were not his mums) and decided to look like thugs, crooks, whatever... on our last game we were able to ask the staff if we could go in 5 mins earlier just to surprise and scare the females that came with us....not a problem they said however any points we received would not be fair.. We agreed that we were happy to not build points for that game just to see their faces when we scare them. Little did we know that just as the game was about to start, a party of very young children came to play a couple of games for a birthday party. They turned up late and were able to squeeze into the game we were in. Anyway... game starts and me and other mates had already put on the tights and were into hiding positions. Whilst the game plays our tactics were to scare our friends with quotes like "gimme all your money" and general loud scary voices The game was quite funny at the time and seeing everyone shit themselves seemed ok for the laugh aswell and as some of the younger children thought it was funny we thought we weren’t doing too much harm (thinking they realised it was a game) Needless to say by the time the game was over we did wonder why the game was gradually getting quieter as more people seemed to be missing. As we laugh our heads off leaving the game and returning to the lobby (still wearing tights) we were greeted by children, some of which were laughing but their parents did not look amused as we quickly walked out the door and to our cars. :o The atmosphere was silent and the mothers were the scary and our female companions thought we took it too far :mac1: A game that clearly wasn’t funny to others was a learning experience and we wont be trying to theme our next quasar game (if we are aloud back in) but here are some photos that I am about to upload which was before we went quazar...
  3. maybe thats why my wife chooses my clothes? to not impress  haha only joking i am quite fussy about clothes but not to impress as much no more.. but then again i did go through a stage of dressing a bit like russel brand and sometimes still do on night outs. I like the smart moddish look with a shirt and sometimes a waistecoat or jacket.... so i cant laugh at your mate too much... :D
  4. thats not too bad. shoes are awful but clothes not too bad.. similar to myself really. i would love it if you got a picture of hsi shoes with the tyre marks!!! :x:
  5. i imagined him like this for some reason :rofl::rofl:
  6. blimey that story is funny... i would of paid to see that happen.. especially to those shoes. WOuld of been laughing in fits!!:rofl: does he wear a flat cap? :mac1:
  7. Its interesting that you mention that because not only did the car have boost jets but the car also had a stage 1 ECU. The car has got its wastegates connected incorrect and so now makes me wonder if it is over boosting.. The wastegates are set up incorrectly according to Santa and when we took out the boost jets the car did run a little better and a bit longer on WOT (wondering if that is because it didnt overboost as much as before) so maybe the car had an EBC taken out when i bought it and the car was not piped up properly. It is starting to make sense with your theory of overboosting.... simply because the fact that the car ran a bit quicker with the boost jets out. I think we are getting somewhere now..:dance::dance:any others agree with this theory? shame i cant reach the pipes to reconnect however im sure jeff will :D
  8. NICE!.. well ill see what i do closer to the day :) chers all and nice one!!!
  9. well if i start at standstill and keep the foot all the way down on the throttle the car will stop pulling for a split second after about 6-7 seconds of accelerating. by this time the car is around 60 - 70 mph if i start at 60 and accelerate hard the hard will get to about 70- 80 mph and do the same but seems gutless if i drive without giving it welly or ease of the accelerator a bit when i get to 60 then it wont buck.it seems to only do it if i have the throttle down all the way after so many seconds. if i keep throttle down and let it do its buck Once it has done its quick buck it will continue to pull again for so many seconds. the thing is at higher speeds the car seems ok if i use pedal lightly.. i cannot get the car to go above 80. i have gotten to 100 before simply buy taking my time to get there and i mean using as little throttle as possible. It just seems the quicker i go the less guts it gets.we thought it was boost escaping because the boost gauge drops but he said it feels more like engine Hopefully santa can provide more detail of his experiance when he was in it.. Damo calling santa.. come in santa!
  10. i don't have an aftermarket boost gauge i'm afraid. When i bought it the stock gauge was stuck on 0 and did not budge. Then a friend found a small vac pipe near the back which was hissing. when he fixed it the gauge jumped straight to -7 (jap meter) the car never went past what appeared to translate as 7 PSI. I got a service done. new plugs, oil and fuel filter and oils changed. Done a balance test which was fine and no errors on conzult or self diagnostic However when Santa looked at the car he found that it had boost jets. We removed the boost jets and got a few bits from a shop that connected the cut pipes back together. Then i noticed the car semed a bit quicker and the gauge went up slightly more however this is most likely innacurate. Santa also mentioned that the wastegates are plugged in innacurate and it probably the result of the previous onwer taking the boost controlle with him. The car did overfuel a bit however Santa helped me change jubilee clips and tighten other pipes and the car seemed to stop over fuelling. Car has never smoked and still doesnt to this day. The autobox seemed fine, was low on fluid so i topped up to get me to zedworld however the car starts and drives fine if i dont open throttle too much. I do have flashing power sign and did a autobox test which showed errors 1 and 8. oil temperature and revolution speed sensor. And my steering get heavy after driving for 2 mins until i turn it off. thats about all i can think off.... except a pug making me look like a fool on the A road as the car seems to stop pulling for a second when on wide open throttle
  11. Yeah a part of me in unconfident that this problem will haunt me for the rest of my ownership but the other side says that jeff will find the solution :bow::bow::bow::bow: so here's to the 26th and to the life of my zed there after
  12. yeah most likely... shame that the conzult showed everything was well except a dead O2 sensor..... I still think the incorrect wastegate wiring is a problem as with the Stage 1 ECU. either that or its the autobox slowing the car down
  13. i can meet you then :) i have a HKS single exit exhaust which i hate..... also looking to get double exhaust one day... just got to get rid of this loud bugger
  14. well my wife is following in the pug so we got transport :)
  15. that would be cool.... we could also get some studded tyres and have a blast down the ramps :nana2:
  16. i agree. I have never been to one so might be fun. Only thing is the car is having MOT then looking at what needs doing so it may end up taking more than a day which means i may aswell drive home as its a long drive. However if jeff thinks it can be done in a day then i might aswell try the snowdrome and shopping out :) thankyou for all your help my fellow zedders
  17. thats sounds good :-) also just seen that drayton manor and Science museam are near.... might be a good day out :-)
  18. thats sounds like she would enjoy that being as its shopping :) is there any other attractions?
  19. my wife would moan... she hates cars :(
  20. and i have never managed to spin wheels....
  21. As some of you may know i am taking the zed to tamworth on the 26th. If it turns out being a day job at zedworld then i am thinking of taking the Mrs out. can anyone suggest what to do around that area or 30 miles around that area?
  22. yeah conzult showed no problems. autobox however showed errors 1 and 8. 8 is revolution speed sensor Yup its TT but feels like NA at the moment. :(
  23. having a look at my old videos that a mate took inside the car i can see that from 20mph it took around 6-7 seconds to get to 60mph. i reckon around 8-10 from 0 - 60mph..... i never really noticed until looking at videos now. Is the autobox able to rob power and can a boost leak effect the car to that extent? post your thoughts :) cheers again all for your help and support
  24. yeah i guess i am looking too far into things..... i should just worry about the car running full standard power for the meantime and have the car setup properly before worrying about other additional mods
