  1. you wouldnt beleive how much crap i get on my email, i would guess i get around 1000 emails a day, about 800 get filtered by my virus filter and 100 always get through, mainly trying to sell me viagra :D or get me to put my banking sign on details in!! Mike
  2. 1, you can use either as both are a vaccum source 2, your boost guage will no doubt have a live and a illumination feed, i tend to splice into the little light in the ash tray and tap into any switched live ie stereo etc HTH Mike
  3. aye send me details of the car if you want ;) mike@kirbz-zed.co.uk Mike
  4. i dont think its due to the size of the turbo, like i said, my greddy turbos sat fine but i think your manifold hold the turbos at too much of an angle hence they take the turbos towards the block?? be nice to see it on the road again :) Mike
  5. i actually bought a stage 5 engine but it has his stage 4 heads on. i never actually had it running as i changed my priorities and had to stop doing the project. magnum5 on here has my engine, turbo set up and clutch etc so his car will be a monster when running :) Mike
  6. Hi Rune, Yes as long as its mapped well it should drive fine, it may idle a little lumpy but hey if you want a highly tuned car then its something you will hve to put up with. I would get the stage 4 one if i had your spec car ;) bhp wise its difficult to say but with stage 4 you should see a good bhp increase as well as helping to spool up your big turbos!! Injector wise it may be worth trying the likes of RC as they can do custom injectors, i would go for something like 1200cc ones rather than 1000cc ones as you still want enough in them just in case you say want to run race fuel and want to increase the boost to 2 bar etc then at least you will have the fueling to do so :) Mike
  7. i also think your 850's wont be enough for a genuine 800 bhp!! you need to have some safety built into the injectors and not run them over 80% possibly 90% if its mapped very very well and you have plenty of guages to monitor the car ;) with regards to the link i sent you, yes he is proven and one of the best builders of zeds in the world, i bought a full stage 5 engine including the same heads of the one in the link :) Mike
  8. i'm here :) here you go http://www.importpartspro.com/st4vgheni30.html remove your heads, bolt these on and get it remapped and you will make the extra power ;) the mapping should also see your turbos boost earlier with these cams be it a little rough on the idle :) what turbos are you running buddy? Kirbz
  9. it will be either the skyline GTR one or the skyline GTS one as there very similar but it wont run some of the zeds functions, i looked into it but by the time you made all the changes it was just not worth it, theres lots of other choices which are as cheap and just as easy to map :)
  10. thats what i was thinking, maybe it changed the angle the turbo sits??
  11. i'm really suprised about the turbos as my 18g's didnt need any mods to the block although i did need to take some out of the mounts to get decent sized pipework to the air feed to them. the 530's are not that much bigger than stock turbos just newer technology and the oem pipework bolts up to the front which takes it past the mounts very suprised if it all needs this much work but hey thats tuning ;) Good luck with it mate Mike
  12. aye, with all the add ons and mapped up your talking the best part of £3k i would have thought
  13. also apart from a limited few which were modified by border (i think) you cant get the apexi power fc for a zed ;) you also missed off motec :)
  14. being cold shouldnt effect it with the idle, its possibly a mapping issues or a slight problem elsewhere, my guess is its a mapping issue and the map doesnt allow for higher revs until its reached a certain temperature glad you have it back and running mate Mike
  15. the greddy ones and the pentroof ones dont need changing. i would be suprised if the mounts would need changing, we only just had to grind mine slightly with the td05-18g's and they are much bigger so i doubt it and i would have thought the oem black pipework would fit directly onto the front of the turbos or at worse an adaptor plate to make them fit? sorry i thought the injectors came with seals, i know my new injectors came with seals with the border kit? Good luck with it bud Mike
  16. theres some fronts and back R33's on the gtr club at the moment for sale which will more than be up for it. if you want bigger brakes then i would go for greddy, AP (but just the calipers as the discs are crap) Stoptech or if the budget if lower then the k sports etc Mike
  17. The manifolds should be straight on. The turbos should also fit straight on without hitting anything If the injectors are new then yes they should come with seals, if not then just order some new ones from one of the traders etc Mike
  18. mate of mine has a L200 for work and he swears by it, also got another friend with a new nevaro and he says its the best car he's every had by far Mike
  19. it also checks the electrol role and previous searches done the report shows upto 6 years of any credit payment history, if any have been late payments they show up s 1 for 1 month behind etc it also shows any linked addresses and any linked people to you, the info is also shared by other finance houses for fraud purposes etc score wise its between 0-1000 and 950+ is considered a v good score and "credit worthy" 850-950 is good but may get refused by some squeeky clean places and anything below that and your struggling to get anything. Mike
  20. i am thinking of getting this one as its a great price and has all of the right things on it LOL http://www.argos.co.uk/webapp/wcs/stores/servlet/Search?storeId=10001&catalogId=1500001001&langId=-1&searchTerms=3353541
  21. Well i'm being made redundent at the end of March  Just got to wait to see what redundency package they come up with etc Mike
  22. very bad time mate, just after chrismas, fuel is expensive, zeds are cheap anyway etc etc etc your car is not expensive and well worth it bud and you will get a buyer but in todays market it may take time. all comes down to how much you need the money, if you need the money asap then reduce it to around the £4k mark, if you dont need the money then stick to your £5k ;) Mike
  23. now isnt that refreshing
  24. well wasted spark is half as good as the oem one or the splitfire one so dont waste your money lee ;)
  25. been reading other threads on wasted spark setups and although there cheap there not as good as oem ones so i would stick with oem ones lee and save your money Mike
