  2. Anyone know if there is a FAQ on stripping down the top side of the 300[pics] to replace the lifters and any new gaskets that is needed and what else to do while its apart also are the 300 lifters the same as the nissan s13 ? [i just have loads of them] cheers

  9. heat it up it will come off undo the nut first and use a spanner on the flats on the rod did mine this way cos it was a pig but used a blow torch and worked a treat
  10. when i got mine cut it did the same thing but would work on the doors but not start the car got them to recut it and works a treat worth going back and having another try
  11. Allan you were right adjusted up now got a good handbrake And found JEFF TT s guide on headlight dismantle :duffer: all good now lights 60% better than before even with the jap bulbs in going to do the upgrade soon

  13. Hello chaps and a happy christmas to all.Right car failed the mot today :cry: on handbrake and light pattern been told that rear hand brake shoes are main dealer tried all the motor factors and can not get them there anyone help? also any tips with the head light CHEERS

Right been seaching for a go hour on here and can't find anything My hicas ligh does not come on at start up think the owner before me disabled it some how now its mot time coming up and need to know if Mr MOT bloke will fail the car on this light not coming on ?car drives nice and is there a thread or somthing on what to check for mot pass Thanks :bow:
  17. before I got my Z I came on here did a lot of searching then saw a z on ebay with the old gearbox blown so got it cheap then got another in good working order [did a deal with me s13] and now when things go wrong just go and pinch bits off the donor car its got a good engine ect hope things work out for you bacardi

  21. Easy to take the old ones off :smash: or like most things on the 300zx its easier to take the engine out :D
  22. my 2 d's worth alarm fault you could snip the wire from the alarm to indi's would be a bit ott but they would 'nt flash :rolleyes:
