  1. Well I ain't going to bullsh1t and say it didn't hurt, cuz it did! But TBH it wasn't as bad as I thought it was going to be...the outline was the most uncomfortable part...unfortunately my girlfriend found out that her pain threshold is not quite as high as she thought it was! She didn't cry but the faces she was pulling and noises she was making were a sight to behold...;)never a good idea to get turned on by your girl when you're lying down, trying not to move a muscle(!), havin a needle dug into your back...! :p
  2. Thats not an Avatar...THIS is an Avatar! ;) No pain, no gain! :D Leigh.
  3. Definately...but not THE "One"...Lol! :D Seen that link before...The meaning behind symbols such as The Eye of Horus is something of a specialist subject for me...I'm currently writing my MA thesis on "Symbolism, the Occult and the Feminine Principle in Nineteenth Century Art". Just been granted permission to do some archive work at the Warburg Institute in London...it's got one of the largest collections of Occult books in the world...should be interesting... ;) Leigh.
  4. Went down the tattooists on Friday afternoon with my girl to both get some work done and.....I'm well pleased with the results! Went for the Eye of Horus in black, approx 11x8cm between my shoulderblades (see Avatar!). Been wanting this done since I was 18 and I'm sooo chuffed! Mind you my girls design looks pretty damn fine as well...;) (and before you ask, no we didn't get matching ones!)...Just thought I'd share. Leigh.
  5. Scratch that. 51.57...getting better! ;)
  6. 46.58 but working on it! This thing is addictive...
  7. Well, had to discontinue the test on my car due to (as Jaffa said) detting...despite the boost being dropped RIGHT down it was still running too lean to safely continue. Could be either, or a combination of, two things: changed the FPR the other day which may need double checking but also replaced the JWT chip with another last night and looks like it needs a bit of remapping to get some more fuel in. But TBH today helped make up my mind to go for 555's sooner rather than later then take her back down to Thor when it's all sorted for a re-run (I'm lucky as I only live 15mins away). Despite having to leave early, was great to see everyone...though got to send my apologies to Chris as I completely forgot to pick up the grounding kit! Bugger! Leigh.

Vague recollection...Did they do something called..."The Matchroom Boys"?? Or was that an album? Or did I just dream it?? ;) Christ... Shoot me...shoot me now.
  10. Deffo hanging around! Also coming along are my girl and my best mate (both very into motors) and best mates girlfriend (who really, really, REALLY, isn't!)...boy, is he in the doghouse... Leigh.
  11. Seconded on Houghton Insurance. They've got a deal going with the Nissan Turbo Owners Club and if you're a member you get a discount. Give 'em a bell and ask to speak to Ken. He deals with the Zed insurance. Leigh.

  13. Got sent this today and thought I'd share... :D Following questions and answers were collated from last year's British GCSE. Geography Q: Name the four seasons. A: Salt, pepper, mustard and vinegar. Q: Explain one of the processes by which water can be made safe to drink. A: Flirtation makes water safe to drink because it removes large pollutants like grit, sand, dead sheep and canoeists. Q: How is dew formed? A: The sun shines down on the leaves and makes them perspire. Q: What is a planet? A: A body of earth surrounded by sky. Q: What causes the tides in the oceans? A: The tides are a fight between the Earth and the Moon. All water tends to flow towards the moon, because there is no water on the moon, and nature abhors a vacuum. I forget where the sun joins in this fight. Sociology Q: What guarantees may a mortgage company insist on? A: If you are buying a house, they will insist you are well endowed. Q: In a democratic society, how important are elections? A: Very important. Sex can only happen when a male gets an election. Q: What are steroids? A: Things for keeping carpets still on the stairs. Biology Q: What happens to your body as you age? A: When you get old, so do your bowels and you get intercontinental. Q: What happens to a boy when he reaches puberty? A: He says goodbye to his boyhood and looks forward to his adultery. Q; Name a major disease associated with cigarettes. A: Premature death. Q: What is artificial insemination? A: When the farmer does it to the bull instead of the cow. Q: How can you delay milk turning sour? A: Keep it in the cow. Q: How are the main parts of the body categorised? (e.g. abdomen.) A: The body is consisted into three parts - the brainium, the borax and the abdominal cavity. The branium contains the brain, the borax contains the heart and lungs, and the abdominal cavity contains the five bowels, A, E, I, O and U. Q: What is the Fibula? A: A small lie. Q: What does "varicose" mean? A: Nearby. Q: What is the most common form of birth control? A: Most people prevent contraception by wearing a condominium. Q: Give the meaning of the term "Caesarean Section." A: The caesarean section is a district in Rome. Q: What is a seizure? A: A Roman emperor. Q: What is a terminal illness? A: When you are sick at the airport Q: Give an example of a fungus. What is a characteristic feature? A: Mushrooms. They always grow in damp places and so they look like umbrellas. English Q: Use the word "judicious" in a sentence to show you understand its meaning. A : Hands that judicious can be soft as your face. Q: What does the word "benign" mean? A : Benign is what you will be after you be eight. Technology Q : What is a turbine? A : Something an Arab wears on his head. Religious Education Q: What is a Hindu? A : It lays eggs. Leigh.
  14. Stu, I know that against ice they aren't going to come off best, I just feel a lot happier now I'm rolling on something with half decent tread. I've used Toyo's before and always found they had superb grip. Anyway, after reading about so many other people on this forum getting into major trouble on the roads recently I'm still just incredibly glad me and the car came away from it unscathed...all too aware that others ain't been so lucky :( Leigh.
  15. Driving home Wednesday night last week and had my first truly scary moment in the Zed. Not 5 minutes from home, doing 50 on a (thankfully) deserted road and hit a patch of ice. Completely lose the back end, madly swerving all over the road desperately trying to get her back in line. Someone must've been looking out for me as I managed to straighten her up without hitting anything...Really shook me up though as I'm all too aware that if someone had been coming down the otherside of the road I'd have been in serious trouble. Anyway, this finally gave me the wake up call to chuck out my sh1tty Jap compounds and get some decent rubber and today my Toyo Proxes T1-S's arrived. Not quite traction control but I'm going to have a helluva lot more grip than before! Leigh >glad to still be vertical
  16. When she's being good: "Zed"/"baby" or "darlin'" (in a Gone in 60 seconds styleee) When she's not being good: "You Complete B*stard" :D
  17. Pete and Harve, definately with you on the NSX...I know a Skyline tends to be the popular choice but...damn...I love that car! Leigh >waiting for the rollover jackpot!
  18. Huh...? Whazzat...?? ;) LMAO, only just seen this! Guy, you ain't right fella... ;) :D Leigh.
  19. Gotta say, I think it looks great in that Orange...very in your face, but very, very cool, particularly if you're going to kit her up a bit with some body mods...but maybe thats the lack of sleep talkin!;)
  20. Crikey! You turn your back for one minute... :D Gotta say congrats to Mike, top work fella, the site looks the business...just feel the quality... ;) Only problem is, I'm a Luddite at the best of times so it's going to take me a while to get to grips with all the bells, whistles and whizzbangery this new site brings. Still, fantastic face-lift guys! Leigh.
  21. Hey Ryan, Most of the info you should need is in my sig mate:) There is a chance that the JWT chip will be replaced by something better before the day itself;) As to flywheel estimates, I honestly have no idea what to expect, 340/350@15psi maybe? Cheers, Leigh.
  22. Unfortunately, this is what passes for a wolf in our house....Damn ;) :D
  23. [Homer voice] Mmmmmmm....KY Jelly and Peanut butter sandwiches.... Leigh.
