  1. Happy birthday Rich, hope youve had a great day. Barry
  2. Thanks for the replies. Dont know if it makes a difference but I use Vista and explorer. Barry
  3. Just reading in Kims' thread, that Norton isnt that great. Mine expires in a few weeks. Whats the best all round package, would prefer one package to protect everything. Also dont mind paying for a package. Thanks Barry
  4. I got it from http://www.czp.us I bought it as I was trying to build a bullet proof engine and had replaced everything else, so thought what the hell, replace the crank while the engine was apart. It does state they have a higher tolerance and grades beyond stock for the tighest fit. Barry
  5. That was my aim, so I went for JWT530bb, full forged engine rebuild, SMIC, 615cc Inj even went for a new Nismo crank. Unfortunately, the car was only just run in on a JD chip and now is off the road. Next stage would be aftermarket ECU and rolling road tune. I went for the JWT as they are near stock spool up. Barry
  6. What he said ^^^^^ Smooth! Barry
  7. Great to see it taking shape Lee, bet your getting excited with the thought of getting your car back. Barry
  8. Quite like the idea of them. But wonder if it will prevent airflow around the engine. Barry
  9. Think its some scam. Seen alot of cars, sometimes 20k below book price. Most are down as email only, or some are mobile numbers. Dont know what the scam is, but think this is one. Barry
  10. Now theres an idea :) Just realised my last post was my 1000th post, only took me just over 5 yrs.
  11. Plenty of time for that, as wont be doing the patio and turf until next year. Barry
  12. Hired it from http://www.hss.com, cost 102 pounds, plus insurance just incase I broke it for the weekend, but made moving the soil so much easier. Also had 3 bulk bags of mot and used it to move that around to the back garden. Designed the new extension so it had two doors, so I could drive straight through into the back garden. Heres a view from the front, before the doors were fitted. Barry
  13. Then end of Sunday, the basic levels are set out.
  14. Started landscaping the garden, so hired one of these to help with the work. Was a laugh to use, but now battered and bruised from trying to control it lol. Started on Saturday morning, had to dig out for the patio, dig out for drive to the garage, then move tonnes of soil around. So much soil, have leveled the garden to two levels now. Barry
  15. Mine hasnt cost me a penny to run this year. Barry ps ok it is sat in the garage waiting for funds to allow me to finish it off
  16. Thanks for the advice guys. Hoping to hire a mine digger next weekend, to level it all out. Will then put a tarpaulin down until im ready for the next stage early next year. Scubie, do you own Shropshire? for all that soil lol Good luck with it. Barry
  17. Called in at Phils on Friday, he was showing me your rebuilt engine. Looking good, you might want to think about traction control with those tubs! Glad its getting closer for you, with all your bad luck youve had. Barry
  18. Im in the process of levelling off the garden, I have grass down (but not great condition) and have a few tonne of soil I need to put down to level it off. Do I just spread the soil over the old grass? Can I remove the grass by machine, turn it over so it dies off and put the soil over? Or is it best to remove it and bin it? Once done, will cultivate it, then put some tarpaulin down to supress any weed growth until I can buy some turf. Was hoping to avoid getting rid, as ive had two builders skips ive filled over the past few months and there expensive. Thanks in advance Barry
  19. I had a look on DVLA site last night and you theres still a section to get replacement paper licences'. I still on my paper licence. Barry
  20. Hi Dave, long time no see. As you know im not very technical lol, but when you turn the ignition on, can you hear the fuel pump?. I know on some cars, you can hear them pressurise. Barry
  21. Im a few miles away from Didsbury near the Trafford Centre, but service equipment in supermarkets, hence recognising Tesco's. Unfortunately I havent fully finished mine yet, so its off the road this year. Barry
  22. Nice clean car, will keep a look out for you around Didsbury. Barry
  23. Unsure for track, but there was a few postings a few years back, which basically said add an extra 2psi per every inch in diameter you go above standard. Barry
  24. Thanks guys. Had the extension designed, so I could get the cars into the back. Still work in progress with the house and garden and Zed come to think of it. Great idea Joel, but live on my own, so have to make my own packing up. Barry
