Wow, small world! Your friend is a legend... ;)

Big Wing!!!
Good looking wing, Adam. I'm a big fan of these 'GT-style' wings; I don't think they look ricey at all - but each to their own, of course :D Don't forget the pics when you get it fitted!

Gutted
Condolences, David. If it's any consolation, a friend of mine had something very similar happen to him, except he also took out a few illegally parked cars on his way to a standstill - his car looked like a wreck and the insurer wrote it off, but the chassis was sound and he got it repaired for not a massive ammount of money. Good as new.

Roof racks
Thick blanket and a length of rope? :D Alternatively, this place do racks for practically every Nissan except the Z32 - but they do one for the Z31; you might be able to contact them regarding compatability. Good luck.

Ironically, private messages are only for use by subscribed members :D You should be able to email them though... If not through the site, just copy their email address and use your own mail program. Given recent events, its probably best to mail AndyP regarding this.

Which way is this place heading?
I agree with Nelson, but then again, this is what these two particular forums were created for anyway, so we're not really saying anything new here :) Yeah, we all had a great time on Friday (well, several did) but I don't think anyone can expect to keep up that level of interaction permanently (if we did, we'd probably get sick of that too. Anyway, I don't think that hijacking the Tech forum so that a few people can have a laugh (myself included) is something that should be done regularly. That forum would become pointless if that were to happen, and like it or not, the Tech forum is the main reason this place came into existance and why it continues to operate. Besides, it was only funny because of the novelty anyway... well, okay, the sparkling wit of the participants helped :D but it was mostly the novelty :)

problem with air-con
If it had to be regassed like you say then it might have gotten close to seizing up when it was running dry. Higher RPMs might be providing enough wellie to get the parts moving? The aircon system does have its own oil supply, doesn't it? (Going off dodgy memories of what was wrong with mine when I first bought the car) Maybe this needs checking out.

I know this is the 10th time I have asked but :D
Are you talking about the control software that Graham (one of the Supra boys) wrote? If no one else has it handy I can probably get him to send you a copy, assuming he still has it himself :)

OMG!!!! help..............................

Very nice! :D What exhausts are those? (btw, this should be in General Chat ;) )

remote certral locking problem
When my alarm was fitted they had to add a relay box of some kind so that the passenger-side lock did what the drivers-side one did. If you have the same thing, maybe some glitch in the connections is causing it?

our turn in there forum methinks
Weird! Someone just made their first post over there on the Chit Chat forum ("I'm back"), calling themselves Raz! Certainly ain't me  Oddly enough, they don't seem to know who he is either :D

Turbo timers and alarms
I guess the safest option is to go for an alarm that has its own turbo timer as an option. Some of the Clifford's have this I think. Presumably the electronics arm the alarm immediately, then wait till the engine is shut down before activating the immobiliser.
