I have issues with the spherical bearing. Seems to rattle at high speed. I think i will have to get a closer tolerance bearing. Al.

The black thingy that the bolts to the bumper is smashed, some fins on the smic are bent, but that seems it until i get the bumper off. Cheers Baz.

Hi people, Bad news this morning, i hit a deer doing 50 mph. Front bumper is smashed, right corner. The gap between the wing and bonnet looks bigger now,(hopefully it can be pushed back in a little). No other damage aparrent as yet, but i need to get the front bumper off to inspect, ie, intercooler, piping, etc. So, i need a new front bumper to start with. I remember so time back some posts about the 99 spec front bumper, and places that sell them. Does anyone know where the best place to get 1? Also, is it wise to paint first then fit? Can i fit myself, i seem to remember that these bumpers do not have any locating points/holes and they must be drilled. I am at work at the moment, and cannot get the time search, but i will search tonight when i get home. Thanks people, (A very sad) Al.

Is it a good idea to cover a car "outside"? I have heard stories of people covering cars, caravans, etc over the winter season and the vehicle seems to "sweat" inside the cover, promoting damp, thus having issues with electronics, trim, seals, etc. I have been looking for a good quality cover for some time now, but am unsure if it's a good idea. I may, ( i cannot guarantee anything yet) be able to manufacture some brackets for the evo caliper and 350z brake set-up if anyone is interested. There will be a price for the material, welding and manufacture. They would be manufactured from mild steel and cadmium plated, with the plate and boss "tig welded". As i have have said, i cannot guarantee this, but i will know more in approx 2-3 weeks, and will post here to let you all know. (It will be the same design and dimensions as krsmayo's bracket) Al.

Hi people, Ok.... my son wants facebook, the majority of his friends have it, and he keeps asking me to get signed up. But..... he is 10yrs old. His friends parents have faked the age to sign them up. Talk about peer pressure, and i am the parent!!! What do you all think? Do you have kids that are on facebook at this age? When cold, my coolant level is approx 1" down from the neck of the rad. I can put my finger in and it gets wet.....:cool3: :whistling: if ya know what i mean, lol. Al.
