  1. My 300 is far from standard so the rear wiper is gone. On a standard example then yes, looks good. Al.
  2. When i get round to painting my spoiler i will fill the hole properly, but for now a bung will suffice. Al.
  3. Hi Richie, My panels are white and they are ultra leather (plastic in other words). It is good quality, soft and leather-like, very easy to clean and complete costing including postage for all panels was approx £65. You need to remove all old material and clean the raw panel well. The backing is a flexible dense foam-like material. Get some 3m contact adhesive. Many people on here recommend spray contact adhesive, i do not. Standard 5 litre tins matey and a brush!! 2 coats to both sufaces, leaving 20 mins in between, wait another 15 mins from final coat then begin to cover. 2 poeple is easiest, working from the centre outwards, and try to stretch the covering over panel. Try the link below for many trimming items. http://www.woolies-trim.co.uk/DEFAULT.ASPX HTH matey. Al.
  4. It all depends on what you are doing to your 300. If you are moddding it, then get rid. If you are trying to keep her original, then keep it. I got rid of mine, looks smoother at the back. Simply removed and placed a rubber grommet in the hole with some silicone. Al.
  5. It doesn't have to be pre-backed..... the best result is from a separate backing material, then cover in final trim. Pre-backed tend to be very porous and absorb too much adhesive, thus resulting in a poor adhesion. Al.
  6. First pic Daz is a great one, catches all the action in one still. Top quality matey!!! Al.
  7. IMO i would definitely back before you retrim. A thin layer of good quality upholstery backing will give the best result for your final covering. My trimmers at work always insist on backing before you cover, makes application easier and the result is the best. Al.
  8. They look good but, i would avoid. It states TIG and MIG welding. TIG (Tungsten Inert Gas) is a first class weld, if welded to a correct procedure. MIG (Manual Inert Gas) is a second rated, somewhat crude welding source, which is vunerable to cracks. Not for me matey. Al.
  9. ^^^^As Hellraiser says^^^^, ptu for sure. Get youself a series II ptu, best upgrade and no need to worry in the future. Al.
  10. Thats what my 300 looked like before a fitted adjustable front and rear links, lol!!!! Al.
  11. My brother had a Renault GT5 turbo many years ago, got it tuned and chipped and had the head strapped down!! Apparently the pressure could blow it off!! (Could have been a load of bo***x tho) Al.
  12. I got my Recaro's from JD, with 300 runners, bolt straight in. I know uni rails can be a nightmare tho. Well done matey. Al.
  13. I love the club spirit matey, many helpful and genuine people on here. I was in 2 minds to keep the grey (black on my 300) front, but went for the 1 colour, and it is growing on me. Al.
  14. Cheers matey. Al.
  15. No, i forgot to get some before piccies, gutted. Was quite bad tho. Al.
  16. Hi people, Well, it has been a long time now since i hit that f***ing deer, and with a big help from "apache", "car mad" and "andy300z" (from e-bay), i am almost finished, gonna fit my new modded indicators tomoz. It took alot of tweaking, bending, and moving to get the front end to line up, but i think it looks ok. Will be on the road tomoz for a test drive to make sure no oil leaks and boost leaks. Al.

  18. Mine are the same, but without the ramps matey. Al.
  19. Andy, it doesn't look that bad, it looks quite good in fact, but, it looks a little unfinished if you like. Maybe extent it a little more, or try and blend the c/f with the aluminium plenum. Only a thought matey. Al.
  20. He is the "Daddy" of the 300zx!!!! Al.
  21. I may have a set at work (near stansted airport). I am back to work on Saturday, if they are there you can borrow them matey. I also have a set of axle stands if you need them. Al.
  22. You cannot beat a bit of "Robo". Very helpful indeed. Al.
  23. I haven't got any blue inside matey. Al.
  24. I have retrimmed my rear seats in plain black trim from "woolies". They are almost a perfect match for my recaro fronts. Have a look at the website. http://www.woolies-trim.co.uk/DEFAULT.ASPX Al.
