  1. Nerdy safety moment. only takes 0.013 of an amp to kill you, it usually takes 13v to break the skin tho, but if you stick a battery onto your wet tongue, this is far less. Strangely enough, blondes and fat people are generally more suceptible(?) to electric shock

  6. As some of you may know I work in Health and Safety, some interesting facts: 1. 3 Brits die each year testing if a 9v battery works on their tongue. 2. 142 Brits were injured in 1999 by not removing all pins from new shirts. 3. 58 Brits are injured each year by using sharp knives instead of screwdrivers. 4. 31 Brits have died since 1996 by watering their Christmas tree while the fairy lights were plugged in. 5. 19 Brits have died in the last 3 years believing that Christmas decorations were chocolate. 6. British Hospitals reported 4 broken arms last year after cracker pulling accidents. 7. 101 people since 1999 have had broken parts of plastic toys pulled out of the soles of their feet. 8. 18 Brits had serious burns in 2000 trying on a new jumper with a lit cigarette in their mouth. 9. A massive 543 Brits were admitted to A&E in the last two years after opening bottles of beer with their teeth. 10. 5 Brits were injured last year in accidents involving out of control Scalextric cars. and finally......... 11. In 2000 eight Brits cracked their skull whilst throwing up into the toilet. RULE BRITANNIA!!
  7. Aww mate, way too much information, I really dont need to see you and your new friend getting it on :nono:
  8. RANDY?!!! PMSL.......RANDY oh dear
  9. had a good day here, will be going back up as the guy really knows his stuff. Was good to meet the guys there, tho a lot of people i didnt recognise, so put a few names to faces. 188bhp was pretty much as i expected (not in the league of the turbo boys, but not bad for my NA). Looking at the above threads, the fans couldnt have been that bad as Stu, John and Alex pulled some big figures before they detted, so anyone who detted before that has to agree it was their car. I think the guy who was running it was erring on the side of caution in a lot of cases, for which everybody has cause to be thankful. My graph shows the car is still pulling at 6733 Rpm and he stopped it , so I dont feel so guiltyy thrapping the nads off it now (not that I did before anyway). :)
  10. 187.6 Bhp @ 110mph @ 6733 rpm 170.2 ft/lb @ 80mph @ 4901 rpm Mods Pipe Intake Slightly modded chip
  11. sent you a PM, if you get it in time give me a bell on 07812-586102 and I can pick you up from coventry
  12. john, Nothing special in the way of tools required for this, only thing is that you will need is a set of a long reach allen keys for the bolt between the two rad pipes that go to the head, i didnt have it nad it caused me grief, everything else is standard spanner/ socket stuff. Need to have a chat to you about chips BTW, still having probs with your excel package, but all in due course. :)
  13. Just thought I would say hi from out here. Baking hot, and the scuba is terrific. Place is full of french people as you would expect, most involved in the search for the black box out of the plane which went down. The people out here are crazy, the bar that we drink in has a manager, who sits all day by the phone, but when it rings he waits for one of the staff to answer it( in a whole 'not my job' sort of way) which would give me the right hump. Hope all is well and happy for you there in blighty :) Cheers to Cybernet for the airport run, consider yourself with a whole load of favours to call on :)
  14. Has to be my mitsi V6, 2.5 galant, which isnt on your list :)
  15. well I can only speak for myself and cybernet who both live in surrey and cant see either of us being snooty, though in fairness I cant really class myself as a surrey boy, so that just leaves steve :) But if you see (or more likely hear) my red NA about, flag me down :)
  16. nah mate, you were the one we all wanted to punch, that's different :D
  17. apart from the aftermarket spoiler that might have been me, but it wasnt :) There seem to be an increasing number floating about croydon/ surrey area
