Window Switches in doors?????
The standard bulb is not very bright, you may have to cup your hand around the arrow to see if it lights up. Its a pain getting an led in, you have to take the whole switch apart to get to the board, not just a plug and play like the drivers pod. The contacts of the socket make connection on the inside of the board rather than the outer like the pods, makes a difference tho I will have it if you getting rid, let me know how much and where. Cheers Graham

Window Switches in doors?????
Hi Pete Yes, only the drivers door was illuminated, just the up arrow If you look at the connector when unplugged from the switch, the bottom 2 pins to the left are the feed and ground. Cheers Graham

Thanks Jeff Of course i forgot about the TPS setting, mine is slightly out and maybe the main cause of the gear change problem

Window Switches in doors?????
Under neath the switch you should see a bulb holder, flush mounted. IIRC its late series 2/3 and if you try to fit to a series 1, it will not illuminate, although the plug is the same, there are 2 less wires, ie: no illumination feed. HTH

gearbox on nissan 300zx turbo
Mine does it when its cold, bit better when warmed up. I had the oil changed and not much of a great difference. Could be the torque convertor on its way out or a solenoid, not enough oil pressure maybe. Thats why im having a manual fitted soon. Changing the gearbox oil will be a good place to start, clean the filter, the only problem being you wont get all the oil out as the torque convertor holds a fair bit of it. Good luck

vibrations and rear juddering?
Hi Trish Depending on the age of your tyres, after sitting motionless for 3 months you may have developed a flat spot or now have a slightly mis-shaped tyre, which will probably cause the vibration. If you have a chance to roll the car downhill in neutral, you may even hear or feel something at a low speed. If it is a tyre then nothing major to worry about. All the best Graham

button on front of 300zx auto selector?????
Thats right, push it down and hold the button in on the selector for it to move. Its handy for when you need to get the stereo surround off, gear selector is out of the way then lol

button on front of 300zx auto selector?????
Use it to select a gear when the engine isnt running instead of having to put your foot on the break pedal. I havent used it for so long, i cant remember if you pull it or push it in as you move the selector.

Farenheit or Paul Smith, very similar. Drakar noir, Issey Miaki, cool water. I like fresh smelling ones and like to find something new, but you cant beat the tried and tested.

ipod holder modification idea
great idea, but unfortunately the switch block is a sealed unit, although its moulded, i suppose you could hack one apart to try to modify it. Good luck with it and a great use for an ashtray that will probably never be used as such, i use mine as a drink holder when on the motorway. Cheers Graham

headlights coming on by themselves!
It definitely sounds like an earth problem, have you tried placing an earth on each set of headlights? It might be worth replacing all 3 relays either new, or second hand to try, as although the relays may test good with a meter, there may be a problem when the correct voltage goes through them whilst in the car.

speed sensor wire
You can do, trying to join the wire directly to the ecu plug will be a pain, so cut it back a few inches to make a join. Graham
