your thinking of the RS4 the 'R' being the big difference, basically a bloody nice car, breathed on S4, 'bout £35000 plus and have around 380bhp!  cheers Jon.
  3. Poly ones, delrin ones or Ally subframe replacement bushings?? :slap: Want to replace these over the next few weeks and not sure which to go for, anyone recommend which is best and where to get a set from..... ;) cheers Jon.
  4. Ahh well M8, another chapter comes to an end, but I'm sure you'll be back soon.... :duffer: All the best M8. :) Have plenty of these :duffer: :duffer: :duffer: cheers Jon..
  5. Good luck with splinters M8, remember to get the needle as hot as you can  cheers Andy. Seriously though I genuinely did not know that or did'nt relate to that Dave was PHNW trader on here otherwise like I said I would have gone down other avenues... I can fully understand the degree of comittment he has shown to other members/customers and don't doubt it for one minute. I up for a group hug lmao  :) subject closed! :duffer: cheers Jon.
  6. Actually I'm going to point out that I did not realise you Dave C were the guy on ebay with username v32det. Therefore, why do you think I have only emailed you through your ebay contact address! If I would have known I would of contacted you through this forum. It's only since I posted that I found out it was you. I am free to let other members know of any bad experiences I may have anywhere, anytime, anyplace ;) ! People can then make up there own minds. I never failed in contacting you Dave you have failed me, :( Now this subject is closed as far as I'm concerned! :D cheers Jon.
  7. Dave, that is a farcical reply IMO. My gripe with you is that I openly and honestly won an ebay auction which in your words has nothing to with this forum! The item was a plenum, now I sent you emails regarding collection of this item to save you time and money on packaging and sending it out. :p seeing as I was in the North West. I received no reply from you, this is going back to the 10th of this month, I received no explanations at all! In fact I thought of just sending you the payment on the off chance you might just send it out but I thought better of it. Firstly, Tell me what the hell has 'Massive PHNW clearance' gotta do with an Ebay auction! :slap: & Secondly why put items on Ebay if you've already sold them or thrown them away. I afraid I don't consider myself to be a ninja I only wish I was at times it might come useful! I think you need to sharpen up on your communication between your customers that's just some free advice... ;) cheers Jon..
  8. are they about an inch long about 5mm diameter with about a 1mm hole in the middle, could be a present for you left by the previous owner in the form of boost jets (aka welding tips) :) :slap: cheers Jon.. ;)
  9. sorry if this has been posted before, but just passing on what I have found... Decided to unbolt both front wings at the bottom 2 X 10mm bolts and 4 X self tappers that hold the bottom of the arch liner on.. I wanted to straighten up some damage caused by jacking in the wrong place! :( and as a result the wings kinda bowed out a little towards the sill and it's always bugged me, as I know it's there kinda thing. Anyhow when I gently pulled the bottom of wing clear of the sill, to my horror, there was a layer about 15mm thick of soil/debris/shite which was damp as it will not dry out! I cleaned it all off the inside of the wing and the inner sill where the wing sits over, just some small rust bubbles starting to take effect, so cleaned them up treated them to some cavity wax then sprayed the whole thing inside with underseal. Some new S/S bolts aligned the wings up nicely and the jobs a good 'un :duffer: perfect now both sides... This did'nt take long to do, but I recommend doing it because in time if left it would have rotted the bottom of the wing and the inner sill. Just be careful if you do it that you don't pull the wing out to far obviously or you could have paint flaking off or worse crease the panel...But it's easy to do! :)
  10. I'm so sorry for you bud  that's arse that, how long was it of the road for? Time for an upgrade then.. cheers Jon..
  11. Well looks like he's well and truly screwed up in terms of this forum, talk about shooting yourself in the foot. I'm all for traders who provide a service with the best intentions of the clubs members because it's not always about money you know they are helping you out but the bad 'uns we can do with out. :slap: :nono: :mac1: cheers Jon.
  12. but I think that negative feedback has only appeared after my auction took place, otherwise I would'nt have bothered bidding, would'nt of touched him with a barge pole as the saying goes :slap: I'm just glad I did'nt pay for the item, I nearly sent it just on the off chance that I might then get a reply but I thought no b*llocks to it! cheers Jon..
  13. Just a warning really to anyone who uses this seller who goes by the username V32det on ebay. Basically I won an item for my zed on the 10th of October. The seller says he is based in the Northwest. For this particular item postage & packing was going to be £20.00. So I thought seeing as I'm in Lancs I would email to see if it was convenient to pick the item up, thinking it would save him time and hassle. :) I have sent a few more emails and he's never replied back to me yet and I'm not holding my breath that he ever will  The item in question was a plenum which I think there were 3 other bids for. Now, although I won it for a low price, and I think this is the reason he hasn't bothered replying, I think it's a pretty shitty deal FACT! :( I mean that's the whole point with ebay isn't it, you put a reserve on an item then you at least get a minimun price want you want for it. At least he could of come back to me and said look it went for less than I wanted really do you mind paying £x amount for it which I would of considered doing, but no not a fecking thing...! I've posted this up to see whether anybody else has had similar dealings with this particular seller... anyone? cheers Jon.
  14. :nelson:
  15. :( bugger, bugger, remembered that I had an old fuel pump bit noisey but worked OK, swapped it tonight and no change still same problem.... :( Tested the volts at fuel pump connector, I got 3V when first turning ignition on (priming) then 13V when idling, so would this rule out the fuel pump controller i.e seems to be supplying correct volts to the pump or would it be worth swapping that just in case. cheers Jon.. :)
  16. Aha, nice one M8, hopefully it will be that or the controller, I will give you a buzz. cheers Jon...
  17. Cheers guys, Andy that was on mine mind M8 tbh, all very well checking fuel pressure at idle but when on full load i.e 4th & 5th.... The clutch isn't slipping, besides I put an RPS jobby in... I think next step is to swap the fuel pump and if ain't that I'll try the fuel pump controller.... cheers Jon.... :)
  18. No doesn't appear to be, it's as though the engine is cutting out momentarily, and similarly again when coming off power... cheers Jon.
  19. Tried Kirbz AFM did'nt make any difference, checked timing which was way out at 8 deg BTDC  set that to 15 deg BTDC wow what a difference.....so much more torque now... But still have a problem. Changed spark plugs to see if that made any difference but still the same. Seems to be boost related but only really shows up in 4th and 5th gears. In 4th doing about 80mph at around 4K Rpms starts to kangaroo and splutter, and by just holding the acc pedal in that spot will make the engine jerk between 4K - 4.5 Krpms, really weird. Doesn't seem so bad with my boost controller off on stock boost but it is still apparent. Anybody have any more suggestions, guess I really need to put it on a consult... cheers Jon.
  20. Looks top M8, you're keen at 1.00am.. ;) cheers Jon..
  21. When I say I've checked the fuel pressure I mean at idle, I suppose I need to check it at load to see if it's still the same. Would a consult be of any use here anybody have one that could perform a test.
  22. Might take you up on that! Only really became evident today having a blast out something not quite right...
  23. Went to Northwest meet today but have noticed some hesitation. Only seems to occur over 100mph in 4th & 5th when pulling hard, kinda misses a beat for a second making the whole car judder. I've renewed the injector connectors recently hoping this would sort it but it hasn't. As I say car pulls sweet upto 100mph in 3rd problem only occurs from there on. Also seems a bit on the weak side over a 100mph, just doesn't seem to want to accelerate as it used to. I've checked fuel pressure and that is spot on. Runs 1 bar boost. Could it be PTU on it's way out, or maybe a coilpack? ECU diag says all clear magic 55  cheers Jon. ;) Anybody have any ideas what to look for.
  24. Thank sweet Jesus you were'nt in the beast :slap: Berlingo driver what a total :xxx:
