Black new shape 3-series BM. 72mph in a 50 and going through a red light. The light looked yellow to me but the speed was probably about right - out of town single carriage way. I thought he was going to do me at first as he had a long thin folder about the size of a fixed penaly ticket. I used my favourite phrase: "oh dear, I realise now I've been a right prat, thank you for making me realise my driving was so bad". And got off with a brief if patronising lecture. :dance: The copper even complimented me on having a nice car! You shoulg give them a try. They're ace. Plus you can smoke for ten years, give up and your health will be fine again before reaching the age when most smoking related illnesses strike. Yes, givin up takes a litttle willpower. But it's a small price for ten years happy smoking. You should give it a go ;)

At the beginning she had no problem with Shilpa - if she was racist she would have. When she got to know her, they just didn't get on for other reasons. Then once Jade didn't like her, she was rude and called her names some of which are racist. But I think her dislike of Shilpa was non-race related.

What's better... Cut it right out and go cold turkey? Reduce a bit at a time and get it down to no fags in a few weeks/months? Something else? patches? gum? hypnotism? crystal meth? Not finding it easy right now.

I think she was stupid, ignorant and jealous but I don't think she is really racist. She used phrases that could be considered rasicst in the current climate. I think she just didn't like Shilpa for other reasons and once she didn't like her used racist language. But I don't think she disliked her for being foreign. I'm glad Jade's out though. And I'm a big Shilpa fan - she is a babe, very cultured, sucessful and showed great strength of character. Not that I've been watching Big Brother! :x:
