  1. Some tracks are easier to get fast times on too. You could easily be 3 or even 4 tenths of a second on a grippy concrete strip like Crail compared to Santa Pod where the start is all rubbery.
  2. It did 300kph (about 185mph) on the speedo in Germany too. Quick bike!
  3. Nice one mate - sounds like a good car.
  4. What is this? Lost? If so I think my mate has most/all of them downloaded from American file sharing sites.
  5. Lol, yes it was a bike. A Kawasaki ZX-12R.
  6. Apparently if you can't fit into it every anniversary that's grounds for divorce too! :x:
  7. I thought it might be possible to get fit with one of them Wii things. Looks like it can be done! http://www.bbc.co.uk/radio1/news/newsbeat/galleries/wii_weight.shtml
  8. I think they have the spindly killer fish out there so be careful in the sea.
  9. I managed a 10.6second standing quarter at Santa Pod once but it was a few years ago.
  10. Nice one mate - sounds like a good piece of work to land. As for pricing.... do you think they'll get a quote from anyone else?
  11. Maybe they use a road legal soft compound competition tyre? 10 seconds is pretty quick!
  12. Get an accountant! I went self employed a little over a year ago and an accountant more than pays for themselves in what they save you. Plus they do all the forms.
  13. Sounds a bit iffy to me.
  14. They don't look that different to standard. I guess they are a bit better - but it's a lot of work for a small difference.
  15. Sounds interesting mate.... can't wait to see the finished thing.
  16. Faint heart n'er won fair maid and all that. Good luck with the interview. A couple of mates have gone there to work - one six months ago, another last weekend. Souds like a great country. And that is TOO FAR to take a car - sell it to me instead!
  17. D'oh missed this too - best wishes for yesterday mate.
  18. Welcome mate Learn aboug the different models: TT & NA LWB & SWB targa & slick top auto & manual UK and Japanese import And make sure whatever you go for you get a good one. A decent one won't cost a fortune to run. An bad one will.
  19. I want to put a medium sized ( about 21" CRT) TV on a DVD player. There are no vents in the top of the DVD player. Any idea if it'll be ok or the weight or something will knacker it? Cheers!
  20. Don't mean to sound like a coont getting on me high horse! :)
  21. Selling it Chris? I'll give you £7K for it! ;)
  22. bosh! Classic
  23. Very nice thought the colour is, it's not midnight purple. Midnight purple is much darker.
  24. Good advice - I'll get out of the car next time. I guess that way they know you're not going to boot it away.
