I wouldn't put it past Clarkson to have made the 'mental' commment deliberately to stir controversy and create publicity. I know it seems nuts people are offended but if mental illness/whatever has destroyed you/someone close to you's life, I can understand it would grate a bit.

Cossie's nice but a bit of a wide boy's car. The 300 is (a little) classier. Cossie faster on a twisty road. 300 faster in a stright line. Don't know which would cost more to run...... I'd stick with the 300 everytime.

I'd try a hair drier but if hot water doesn't work, maybe hot air won't either. I'd try some sort of solvent - petrol, carb cleaner - something like that.
