  1. I had a bit of a ding-dong with an RS6 on the autobahn crossing Germany. I was on a (borrowed) Kawasaki ZX-12R. We both gave it 100% (I think!) from about 70mph to about 180mph a few times. The bike seemed to have the edge but there wasn't a lot in it. The car was driven by a woman though but it was mighty fast. The 12R was the mosty powerful bike you could buy at the time (couple of years ago).
  2. I think the auto box is pretty good. If you tune an import or drive fast for long periods you should get an extra oil cooler fitted.
  3. Bell Direct or A-plan have been good for me. Google will find them.
  4. I think people aren't that bothered. A word can be identified by its context as well as its shape. I don't think you often get a situation where there's genuine ambiguity / confusion.
  5. Does it matter as long as you can tell what people mean? I think you risk alienating people if you labour the point.
  6. My passenger side front speaker is all buzzy when I play 'Gold Digger' by Canye West. I take it this means it's fooked and I should replace the front speakers? Can anyone point me in the direction of some decent replacements? I want some that install easily in the original pods, work fine straight from my head unit and don't cost too much. Cheers folks! :hyper:
  7. Sorry folks - looks like I won't make this one. Still sorting the 'new' house and was away boozing all last weekend. Have a good time and hope to catch you soon.
  8. He'll have a ring like a blood orange by Sunday morning!
  9. Once, with a native girl in Kenya. She had a mouth like ten fingers and ten fingers like a mouth. :hyper:
  10. It's no good pretending to be straight now. The forum homos will have noticed you now. And your ring will be in danger at JAE
  11. Aye valentines is a terrible time to go out for a meal with a loved one. The prices are increased and they rush you so they can get more people on the table. Best cook a nice meal and go out another time.
  12. A voucher for 'An hour of Craig David loving'. What woman could want more?
  13. I often wonder what it's worth - hard to say really. It's been flawlessly reliable for three years so it's probably more reliable than an older car. At the moment there's not much I'd rather have. But I'm always open to offers! ;)
  14. It played its part in UK Zedding culture! Why don't you get another? They're three for a pound these days or there abouts.
  15. Wlecome aboard mate :duffer:
  16. Was it the famous 'no chance mate' car?
  17. Via Andy's other thread.... I think some people do that. But it's not the main meaning of 'dogging' in the UK.
  18. How cool are those!!!!! I hope they come from ethical sources though, not ripped out of the forest somewhere.
  19. Missed the first 10 mins - d'oh!
  20. Those wheels look spot on mate. Sounds like there's a bit of grief getting them / the brakes fitted but they're worth it. They go great with the purple.
  21. He's always flaunting his rear down the docks, claiming it's worth a good price.
  22. They all want 'em now - and none of them are happy when you've done them!
  23. Is the £12.50 entry to the event or an extra charge to be part of the display parade?
