  1. Get some of those auld four wheel roller boots of ebay for a tenner. You'll be well in.
  2. She wants a skater boy, she'd say 'see you later boy'! :duffer:
  3. No - I meant the R8.
  4. Sky Digital in every room. Oooowwwwwwwwwww!
  5. I thought they were going to be £80K odd. I was with a lad on Tuesday who's driven one. Said it went well.
  6. Yes but the MG Rover would be 2-3 years old, the 8 series will be four times that or more.
  7. Bet that lad with the camera pappered his breeks.
  8. :D :duffer:
  9. I think she's asked him nicely to eat less but he didnt listen. I think this is payback.
  10. It's not the size of the dog in the fight etc etc I recon a realy clever driver in a car with 200-300bhp can beat just about anything on the road in the hands of a typical driver. I've been in some fancy cars occasionally and the odd decent bike too and I think the quickest I've ever travelled along a twisty road was in an old 8v Cavalier. Although we're not very typical - here in the madhouse.  :duffer:
  11. 'Performance Tuner' First issue out today. Anyone seen it? What do you think of it? Don't lay into it for not having lots of 300ZXs. No mag will ever feature lots of them unfortunately.
  12. Sorry - that's the extent of my computer skills. Ah well, not to worry. Seeing as I've started the thread, what do you recon to the MG ZT 260 V8? I don't think it'd be very 'carbon neutral'. Maybe an autogas conversion would help? It'd be cheaper then anyway. I was this near to getting the Zed converted to run on gas when I first had it - Government would have paid a fair bit towards it too. Was never sure if it knackers engines or not.
  13. Happy birthday lads. :duffer:
  14. When I'm looking at car ads, I always see what else is in the pic. Get an idea of the owner and all that. I was browsing those 260bhp V8 Rover 75 MG ZTs.... wouldn't buy one probably but 260bhp, V8, two year old car for £10-12K... Check out this ad pic - nothing rude or wierd - just looks like the sort of person's house you'd WANT to buy a car from. lol
  15. Whenever I've bought a car or bike I've always got it home and found some problem or other. If you got away with just loosing 5 months tax, that's not too bad. That said he was very cheeky to pull that stunt. He must have realised you were going to find out he's been dishonest. I assume you have his name and address too.
  16. Heater matrix is neither cheap nor easy to fix. But if they just sold you the car, it's their responsibility to sort it. ps metalic midnight purple is fastest
  17. Looks like a great day mate. So many top cars.
  18. Get an invisible one and you can put it next to your invisible Noble.
  19. What engine has it got? Edit - I see now V8 Engine The high-revving V8 petrol engine delivers 420PS, spontaneous response and a thrilling engine sound. It punches the R8 through the 62mph barrier in just 4.6 seconds. I'd still 'do' it in me Hillman Imp. ;)
  20. Cool. I might come over if I'm free on the day - it's not far from me.
  21. Carried mine over from another forum. Initially chosen at the height of the Avid Merion / Leigh Francis / Bo Selecta fame.
