I've thought I've been nicked by loads of speed cameras - including those very ones. But the letters have never appeared. Touch wood mate, you'll be ok.

I think that's about 25mpg. Some TT owners have managed very low 30s on gentle motorway cruising (65-70mph IIRC).

I lived there for years and was always very wary of them. My mate was done by them. Touch wood, you'll be lucky - but the next two weeks waiting to see won't be fun.

I'm no expert - but my old man is - he's Professor of Gasterenterology at a UK University. He's also an adviser to the Food Standards Agency. He recommends giving Immodium a miss. He had this stomach disorder that seems to be going round for over a week at the start of this year and didn't take Immodium then. I'm not sure of the details but the only time he recommends Immodium is if you've got the sh1ts and you HAVE to travel or situations like that.

£7K will get you something pretty tidy.

Immodium's not a good answer - whatever your bodys trying to get rid of i's best to let it out. Immodium just keeps it in and prolongs the problem.

Any rough idea on price for a drive in, drive out engine swap if you don't want massive power - say 300bhp? Is there anyone that'd do it for... say £4K?

I was with Bell for the last two years. When I was calling round this year for quotes they were particularly ****witted / expensive so I've gone with A-plan instead. £560 fully comp. I think it's the luck of the draw - they just make numbers up out of their arses.

The 300ZX is more of a 50-150mph car than a 0-60mph car.

I think if it's freshly cooked and has been boiled it'll be fine even if it's a little firm. The problem occurs when restaurants / takeaways make a huge batch and keep it for days reheating it a bit at a time.

There was gastric flu doing the rounds. My father had it around New Year and it laid him low for a week and it was proper nasty. He hadn't had a day off work since 1972 before then. Hope you've just got 'regular' food poisioning Nick!

I had a copy of Derbyshire Police internal guidelines as to what to do in cases when several people have access to the car and a NIP is issued. If the registered keeper has done everything in their power to work out who was driving but still doesn't know, their guidelines was to drop it rather than take it to court. You probably CAN get out of it - but you (and your Mrs!) will need balls of steel - in theory you could have to go to court and lie convincingly which can be harder than you might think.

I think we have his address don't we? I agree - people should report him to the police. Sounds like he's fiddled hundreds / thousands from different people in different clubs.
