  1. :o It's on again! He's just cut through the breast bone, opened up the rib cage and is prodding the lungs. :hurl:

Cool! Sounds good to me. Yours is a SWB so lighter than my 2+2 targa and the four speed autobox on mine means it does drop out of the power a bit in 3rd and 4th (I'm gettin my excuses in early!) But I'm up for it! I think your big wheels won't be as good as my standard ones over the 1/4 mile so we'll have to see! Should be a laugh whatever!
  3. It might look ok with bigger wheels.
  4. Surely we're just all having a laugh and no-one would actualy get offended about that sort of thing?
  5. It's up there! :smash: :smash: They're cobbling together a transparent tissue of lies as excuses and blaming each other.
  6. "I heard when Zs become a bit old, the fuel filler generally gets fvcked."
  7. No different to any other year I think.
  8. I guess you're put in in and out of 'park' a few times and rocked the car backwards and forwards just in case it frees something off?

Hope to make this one day or the other (or even both :hyper: ) But I'm not sure yet. Any ideas what a standard, auto, NA with speed limiter still in place would run on the quarter mile (in inexperienced hands)?

I camped in the Himalayas* when it was -30. Surely we'd be ok camping with modern sleeping bags? Or my solution which is two £10 jobs of the market inside each other. And the beer would be already chilled! *OK, I didn't but i saw a man on TV who did. :hyper:
  11. At our last midlands meet (or was it the last but one?) two Zeds turned up driven by ladies - one was wearing 'killer' heels too! Go on... get one! My g/f drives mine and she loves it. :hyper:
  12. My mate claims to have Kerry McFadden in the boot of his Sierra and that she will give you a t1t w4nk in exchange for a ciggy. But I don't believe him.
  13. Yeah, I heard damaging the clamp is illegal. On some cars if you let the tyre down it will slide off. Doesn't tend to work with big wheels / low profile tyres though.
  14. Someone must be? If so, I'll stop mentioning my enormous recreational drug intake and drunken wife beating.
  15. 4000?   (I think!)
  16. northern lights? :hyper: :hyper:
  17. I thought grass is green as it contains chlorophyll, the photosynthetic pigment used to turn the sunlight into energy. Maybe that's green as it's absorbing all the light except the green bit?
  18. ;)

Good car - I almost bought one (the S14a which came out in 1997) instead of the Z.
  20. I wanted a manual. But the car I really wanted had an auto box so I bought it. And now I love the auto. I should think manual's good too though. Drive both and see what you like.
  21. Does anyone who works there have a Merc?
  22. '99 front end too - they know the score!
  23. Me after Chunk   Not that I get to choose - but cool anyway!

I do like the Mistubishi. I've heard they're as bit more prone to going wrong / being expensive to fix than the 300. And they're heavier than the 300.
