  1. I want to change my wheels tonight. I'll (obviously) have to jack up the car. Will it do any harm to do it with the standard jack under the sill? Cheers!
  2. Hmmm.. clearly a weak and trasparent bluff on my part. Of course I don't even know her. Sounds like a good oportunity to get some top pics though!
  3. Seriously lads, Petra is my half sister from my Dad's first marriage (and she's not really called Petra anyway). She has thee kids too, so that's a mum you're talking about here. I don't want to stop her earning a living or you guys having a good time but show some respect please.
  4. Can I remove little areas of corrosion with several grades of abrasive paper, then lacquer over? Has anyone tried? What are the results like? Cheers!

No pain, no gain. I think Nandrilone is the stuff to get too. Seriously, good work though, keeping fit. I have done no exercise in about 3 years and it's time I started. Keep it up!
  6. I'm using regular unleaded in my (Jap obviously) NA with no problems. What problems could it cause?
  7. I know mate, I know. ;) Whenever anything stops working I panic and probably would have crowbared it in a fit of panic if it hadn't opened! :nelson:
  8. Did this, it opened, put lots of WD40 on - it's fine now. Thanks mate!
  9. I'll crowbar you!
  10. Just tried to open my bonnet and it won't open. The pull handle seems to be ok but it doesn't pop open. I guess it's stuck. Any idea how to get it open?
  11. Hmmmm... it sounds great as it is. The 16 inch front isn't as bad as many people say. I guess you could get a nice 2002 R1 easily for that money and I always liked them loads. I think you can get parallel GSXR1000s brand new for well under £7K these days. I think long term you never get back what you spend on mods, so if it was me I'd sell and get a newer bike. But your is already modded and nicely so so maybe it is worth hanging onto it. I guess both are good options - but that doesn't help much! I dunno!
  12.  (whore)
  13. Nice one. Any way to tell the offset by looking at the wheels?
  14. I may buy some used wheels of another member tomorrow. I think they've been on his 300 and another 300 before that. They will fit my (standard, 1999) car, right? Is there anything I should check for? Cheers!
  15. take the 300 - no point buying it, insuring it etc then not using it.
  16. Looks like a nice runabout. I wouldn't put graphics on it though.
  17.
  18. I liked Michael Moore's last film, "Bowling for Columbine" But I didn't like Farenheight 911. There were a few good points near the beginning but no single cohesieve thrust. And it soon degenerated into wounded solders saying how terrible war was. I think he rushed it and it was a pretty poor effort.
  19. If I has £20K I'd buy it today.
  20. Don't mess with the mods, Mr Lantern.
  21. I think some people have had really good results from just cleaning the inside of the headlight glass - but it's not the easiest to get to.
  22. High Intensity Discharge (or Xenon*) headlights. Like Mercs and stuff have. They arc electricity thru gas in the bulb rather than having a normal element. Ballast is a unit to convert the electricity into the high voltage needed for this system (I think). They make a really strong, clean light. *Not to be confused with 'Xenon' regular bulbs which are pretty much like normal or very slightly better at most.
  23. Me too - started when I was 21.
