It's a valve that goes in the fuel pump and stops the pressure draining away when the car's off. I don't think anyone got it. It had to come from Japan so it did take just under 8 weeks. And I'm not sure I need it anyway (but it was only £4)

Similar to Gruntpa's idea: you could get a couple of pieces of wire, strip the ends, disconnect both sides and bridge the left supply ot the right light and vice versa... this would show if it's the light or the power supply.

True, my car is the 'conossieur's choice' normally aspirated model. I don't think it's a fuel actuator although I don't know what one of those is. :smash:
