The glory days (of about 1994) are gone, mainly thanks to parallel imports. Sadly I didn't get into it till after then and everything's run by accountants now so there's less obscene spending ande excess. On one press launch in '94 the manufacturer provided girls for everyone. Apparently the Brits were too shy to accept but the Italians were straight in and took two each to their rooms right away. :shock:

Yep - it's not as good as you might think though. Pros and cons, like any job. About the best thing is it sounds good when you tell people.

Trinity, Storm and Anastasia (a sort of Coventry-based equivalent to Charlie's Angels without the crime fighting superpowers) posted some pics of themselves before / after going out on the town a few times. I think it got more views than everything else put together. :hyper:

I've seen jobs advertised for 'fund rasing co-ordinator' for big charities with £60K sallaries so I know what you mean. He lives mainly in Borneo doing vital work to conserve the Orang Utan and other terribly threatened species. He recently got a large area of swamp forest made into a national park. I went there for six weeks and it is hard work in a lot of mud and not fun even thought it sounds it. I'd rather give money to his charity than any other but I do understand this is a personal preference. I think most charities are pretty honest / straight and the news rarely reports their good work. :bow:

I heard if you get to 10,000 you get a free engine rebuild at the garage of your choice or a free respray at any paint shop you like. If they say "no" just tell them: "Craig David from the internet said it was ok". :rofl:
