True, true... come to the 'Boro ... "the jewell of the fens"*. Fast trains get to Kings X in 45 mins, slower ones are near an hour. I live there (hey, no-one come and nick me Z - I have my grandma's old service revolver and I'm not afraid to use it) - and it's got a lot to commend it. * not including March, Wisbeach, St Ives, Outwell, Three Hole and Tick Fen.

Supras sell for a bit more cos they have a 'higher profile'. I think they may be a fraction easier to tune to really big power. Some people might say it's a better car but I think for a given price you'll get a better 300 that you would a Supra. I considered both and went for the 300. I would have even if the price difference wasn't there.

Big engine, high spec Scorpios and Omegas could be worth a thought too.

Starch, sugar and traces of potassium? And tryptophan? And lots of other stuff. Probably.

I'd get a 200SX S14A. But you sound like you want something bigger / more refined. How about an Alpha 166 3.0 V6? You'd get a 2000 W-reg easy for that money and they're not slow, fun to drive and not as Mickey mouse as old Alphas. You could get a E320 Merc but it'd be 1995. Or how about a Honda Legend or an import Legacy?

I'm not that keen. The true Zs are no more. Just like the real Supras. The new ones are cheap, tame Euro-friendly imitations.

The car looks great. Not sure whether you should put the spoiler on or not ( I thought about one of them metal wings on mine). I guess it might do 1 or 2 mpg less on the motorway though. Hardly a big problem even if it did.

Called to let my insurance know I changed wheels (to a set of £300 17 inch second hand jobs). They wanted £78 extra on top of my premium ... I whinged and whinged.... they dropped it to £39.
