I'm a fan of brake cleaner for all sorts of jobs. But carb cleaner is the daddy when it comes to organic solvents - it does evaporate quickly though, sends you doolally with the vapous and can harm any plastics it touches.

I thought only a few market's (America) manuals made 300bhp and the rest (including all autos) are 280? But I could be wrong.

The LWB (or 2+2) handles better (more stable) at high speed and can fit more in the boot with the rear seats folded down. The SWB (2 seater) is more nimble and lighter therefore quicker. But they're not big differences.

I just bought some second hand alloys. They're nice but have little bit of corrosion on the edges of the rim. They look like these rims are removable - they look like they're held on to each wheel with about 12 recessed bolts (maybe so they can be removed and refurbished / replaced if they get curbed??). I took the bolts out but the rim wouldn't come off. I gave it a few bangs with a rubber mallet and tried to lever if off gently with a screwdriver. But it stillwouldn't come off. Any idea how to get them off - the wheels are Oz F1 Cup?? Or do they not come off at all? Cheers gents. :dance:
