Great article...
Good find! I couldn't help but notice that the slick top is basically an 'economy version'! body The earliest, as well as most later fourthgeneration Zs, came with T-tops, and what's amazing about them is how well they sealed. By now, some of these T-tops might need new rubber gaskets, but most are still watertight. Nissan added a non-T-top coupe in 1991 to help bring down the Z's price. Nissan introduced the aforementioned convertible midcycle in 1993. This was available only with the non-turbo V-6, and it had a roll bar that also helped stiffen the body structure.

Possibly looking at a 300zx, but need some info first!... :)
That looks nice. I think someone on here wanted to swop their 300 for an MR2.

SWB - short wheel base - 2 seats LWB - long wheel base - 4 seats (2 are small though!). SWB are rarer. UK/import is just that. Some people say UK cars tend to have rust. Imports will probably need a UK stereo, alarm and an oil cooled for an auto (if they're fresh off the boat) plus they can cost more to insure.

Honestly! None too young for BB.

I think Cona fitted a baby seat last week. As for autos, I think they're great - I have one and I only had manuals before. Import autos (certainly Twin Turbos) need an extra oil cooler fitted. Autos are more common and tend to be slightly cheaper than manuals. Then you need to deicide about TT/NA, slicktop/targa, LWB/SWB and UK/import!

If you changed your forum name, what would you change it to?
I picked my name at the height of the Avid Merion 'Craig David' 'Bo Selecta' fever. It doesn't seem quite so funny now. If I was changing, I'd be quite tempted by something with 'The' in front of it. Hmmm.... What'd you change yours to if you were changing it?

Buying a Clio diesel - what to check?
Come on now lads, pack it in, like I said, I do the jokes round here. Any serious advice or I'll end up looking a right monkey's uncle.

Auto tt vs NA Manual
I had a 200SX - good cars. Late ones are a lot newer than 300ZXs (obviously). They're quick too. I'd consider a S14a or a 2.2 Prelude Motegi.

Off to the States.... AGAIN!!!
Have a good time mate. Not jealous either. Much!

LOL You on the beers tonight? :duffer:

Auto tt vs NA Manual
Hmm..... both are good. The TT will be faster - and probably cost more to run. It's down to you really. If they were both in identical condition otherwise, I'd take the TT if they were nice and the NA if they were high mileage / shabby.

Cuba
Looks good mate. Is stuff cheap or expensive there (ie beer, food, accomodation etc) ?

Buying a Clio diesel - what to check?
Not me - my mate is looking at a Clio diesel tomorrow and I said I'd help. What should I check for? It's a 1995 1.9 diesel. Cheers!
