  1. Love those wheels as they are. Very nice!
  2. An Evo, especially an older one will cost loads of time / money to keep on the road. Get an Integra DC5 - it'll be as quick as anything on the road and designed with low maintenance in mind.
  3. Excellent news mate.
  4. Sounds awesome - get some good pics to show us.
  5. The 34 is a lot newer so should be relaible. IMO the GTR is the one to have - not cheap though. The GTT doesn't look nearly as special (or go as well). IMO anyway! If I sold my 300 tomorrow and got a new car it'd be a DC5 Integra.
  6. Have to say a nice Cossie would rock. Most seem to have been raped by blokes with shaved heads, pirate sized earrings who wink and say: "be lucky". And they hold their money too well to be a bargain.
  7. LOL I'd still do her, mind.
  8. Another vote here for Bell Direct (.co.uk) Cheapest of the lot (staggeringly inefficient and disinterested too but aren't they all?) I pay £550 a year - comp on a 99 NA.
  9. That was one outrageously homo-erotic film. Particularly apt for Reeves, I guess!
  10. I think they just want to skate forever. They never want to get jobs like their parents. They just want to skate for ever - YEAH! The auld nonces.
  11. A likely story - he's seen the weather forecast and it's going to absolutely **** it down! :nelson:
  12. I've had a few bikes off the clock - over 300kph (186mph). Generally overseas, occasionally at Bruntingthorpe Proving Ground.
  13. It's got plenty of power. Plus you can drive it at 196mph all day and the air con will maintain 17 degrees C in the cabin. I don't know if a Zed will manage to do that.
  14. Give it a couple of years for prices to drop further, buy one (maybe the V10 diesel), stick on 19 inch wheels and tint the windows. Sorted! Or am I talking *****cks?
  15. Yep, have a nasal hair trimmer. Pipes and slippers are really very good though.
  16. Shit mate. Hope you get it sorted reasonably easily.
  17. Nice looking wheels mate. Simple design looks great on the Zed.
  18. Very few cars ever go up in value. I go on several other Japanese car forums and on every one people are moaning how their cars have suddenly dropped in value, just like on here. I think the truth is all cars depreciate and very few ever pick up again. The 300ZX just might but I wouldn't hold my breath.
  19. Sorry Vini - not a fan here. Top Gear has raised the game of late with innovative features and stunning production values and Vroom Vroom is just low-budget, low-quality IMHO.
  20. No - making ramps was the longest part. Then once under the car, removing splash guard (if fitted) is a five minute job and and tensioning the alternator belt was a five minute job too. Luckily it wasn't the air con of fan belts that were loose as the adjusters on them looked a little harder to get to. I'm rubbish at DIY mechanics but this was pretty easy. No more nasty screech now! :nana2: :nana2:
  21. There was a squeak of belts sometimes on starting up my Zed. I made wooden ramps to JD's measurements / plans  Got instructions for tightening the belts from Greg  Got the car on the ramps and tensioned the belt today - problem sorted! I've never done any work on the Zed before so I'm chuffed. Pics of ramps shown (plus one of the bike I bought last week - an old Honda XR400 for wheelies / mucking about in the brick pit).
  22. Oops... thought that was Timmy Turbo - sorry TT.
  23. Christ, it's like the old days... remember when we all used to hang out at Arnold's Diner and The Fonz jumped his bike over that truck... or was that Happy Days? LOL.
  24. They posted a video TT, when you were away. Awful, it were. Told me it was you in the video, they did. Sinister bunch.
  25. PMSL! A Timmy Turbo special. They're going to have a fun night camping it up down there in the west country!
