I agree, i cant argue with that.

£20 for Saturday day ticket, but not parking on the club stand, or £45-£60 for weekend ticket. It's definitely expensive for just a get together of clubs, but does seem to be on a par with Modified Nationals, and other similar events held with the same format.

As it is local to me, and during school holidays, i am considering going to this. If anyone is undecided about whether there will be anyone there or not, or doesnt want to be the only one on the stand... ;-)

It will soon be time to apply for Club Stand allocation for JAE 2017, and I will be attending the Club Reps meeting in March to see what is happening this year. The prices are still the same as last year, at £45 for 4 day event with camping, or you can obtain a £20 day pass on the Saturday. However, the day pass will not allow you to bring your car to the club stand, according to the current details in the JAE news. http://www.japcarclub.org/index.php/jae-news Thought we should start some discussion off rather than a poll to start with. UPDATE 6-Jul-17: Please find attached the Venue Info details for accessing the museum and their requirements for our using it. UPDATE 26-Jan-17: Gary has managed to secure us a room at the Coventry Transport Museum, which means the club can now host lunch and the AGM in the same way as we did last year, although a different room (currently). This means that those of us that meet at the pub on Saturday can move straight onto the drink and banter on arrival, and food in the evening, without having to worry about slurring our way through the AGM :) --------- After much calling round, wrangling of dates, discussing of venues, we have settled on the Annual Club Meet and AGM locations for this year. We will be at Coventry Transport Museum again for the Annual Meet and the AGM. We all know that it is a great venue, due to its central(ish) location, plenty of space and very family friendly for those not wishing to stand around talking about cars. We will continue to look for and negotiate a change of venue with suitable facilities for 2018, including a local hotel and alternative AGM venue if necessary, but it is very difficult to secure summer dates at many locations.
