erm..... if you look at the constitution it says subscriptions have to be ratified at the AGM....was it decided at the last one in which case the announcement is late, is it to ratified at the next in which case it's not effective immediately or is is there going to be, or has there been and extraordinary AGM ?

Does that mean that you could have the HIDs on the dip beam as now, but when you switch on the main beam the HIDs would switch to main as well ? Be like driving in daylight probably if so !

On a serious note.... you say going to 6000 rpm but that is probably way past the max torque revs So, if you can, get a power test and then you'll know what revs to shift at the get the zed pulling like a train and leaving everything behind....

If nothings changed in the tests then it's probably the alternator fried like you said ! Make sure all the leaks have gone before you fit the new one !
