  1. Mine's the right size and I've got a completely legal set in the boot !
  2. I've put 100w bulbs in my main after getting Zedworld to check the wiring etc to carry the extra load Mind you, even at that they struggle to outshine the HIDs on dipped lights I've also put HIDs in the fogs and they are awesome. Unlike some of the advice on here, they do work because they are low enough to illuminate the surface of the road and that is the most benefit When both sets of HIDs are on as long as you are driving according to the conditions you can see all the way
  3. Not me but mine's green !
  4. If you change them make sure the mountings on the engine aren't rusty and use a silicone sealant as well when fitting.... If you don't believe me ask Nissan in Coventry !
  5. Blimey..... bit different from a zed ! Still, nice clean example
  6. Hi Jeff Wow, same history, almost ! I had 2 x 3litre Capri Ghia's and then the 2.8i. I then had a 2.9 XR4 x 4.... Then two Granada Cossies and they were QUICK ! Then I got the Zed whooopeeeee !
  7. Hi Leigh Done Is there a new album on the way ? Tony
  8. Jeff, No Link or pics ?
  9. Only one bit of advice..... If they are all poly bushed then remember the pics Jeff put up about six weeks ago about metal suspension mounting parts cracking because the shock absorbing of rubber bushed components had been removed and with the, albeit, firmer poly bushed suspension, road vibration and stress was being transferred to the mounting points, not being absorbed by the bushes... Just depends on what you are planning for the car I suppose
  10. Wouldn't risk taking it anywhere else !
  11. Hi Craig Try googling 'part worn tyre suppliers'..... Gives you a few options !
  12. Hi Chris Have you got it back ? How does it look and hope the damage wasn't too bad ? See you soon at a meet somewhere soon hopefully
  13. I used to see that one around when I lived in Preston May be around the Hutton area......
  14. Well.... Did it pass ? Hope so after all the work you've put in
  15. Zedworld do a conversion - Not that expensive Give Jeff a call
  16. Hi Thanks a lot.... It's for a Car phone for Jan so I guess taking a feed from the ignition will be ok. Thing is she needs to be able to make calls even with the ignition off if there is a problem
  17. Can anybody tell what is the easiest way to get a 12 Volt +ve supply into the cabin from the battery ? :detective: I need a permanently live connection. It's for Jans NA auto by the way
  18. You wouldn't do better than to get it up to Zedworld in Coleshill and let Jeff and Jamie work their magic on it whilst Lynda keeps you fed and watered. If you're thinking about Chipping and Mapping then I would talk to John Dixon...... Looks like a good engine you've got built and all the best with it
  19. Hi Steve I've seen yours there..... looking good..... Wheels are on their way aren't they ? It'l look like a full bodied F1 car when the wheels are on !
  20. Hi Jimmer Yes It really is starting to come good and reach the potential we were told about when we got that engine. And the Tubs sound awwwsommme. Thanks for all the work you put in to get the engine done. Tony
  21. Well Firstly HUGE thanks to Jeff, Jamie and Lynda Very strange problem developed..... Misfire at about 3.5k - 4k revs on full boost Wouldn't misfire if you didnt use full boost but just accelerated steadily through the rev range. The only saving grace was that the fault was hard whenever you used full boost Well, New Plugs, Change of Coil packs, Different ECU swap, swap MAFs, Boost leak test to 45psi, play around with O2 sensors all having no effect and nothing showing on Conzult when the zedworld laptop was taken for a fast trip on Jamies lap with Jeff driving it was becoming a head scratcher But true to their word they found it..... and it was a well wierd one... Comination of the fuel pump ecu - didn't even know the fuel pump had a separate ecu and a new fuel filter and a couple of other of odds and sods and it's running so well you can hear the hybrid turbos singing So, well done and thanksagain Zedworld..... and anyone else that has some funny or strange problems you know where to take it !
  22. Power and Hold aren't the overdrive The overdrive switch is on the gearshift on an auto
  23. A decent conversion chip will convert kph to mph and delimit the speedo. Was done to my Green TT when I got it. I've Heard of conversion chips which don't delimit...... and perhaps it's one of those
  24. I think there is some confusion on this thread between the A/T Power and Hold Setting on the gearbox tunnel cover plate and the O/D switch on the gear selector which is used to activate or disengage the overdrive, which is the direct drive option on the gearbox. Nissan recommend not using the OD set, Dash light illuminated showing O/D OFF, when town driving and having it set on for everything else Having had an auto TT converted to manual and now with Jan having an auto I can honestly say the OD doesn't make a deal of difference in in normanl town traffic but does drop the revs by about 500 rpm when fast cruising... I ended up always leaving it on. The A/T switch is often redundant because if you floor it in First, second or third the box switches to power mode automatically, and the 'Power' Light illuminates to show this
