  1. I guess it's a typo 'They reckon car will go from 23bhp to 290bhp' If not do they work on Zeds with that increase !
  2. Well, We've got mine, which isn't used all the time, Then there's Jan's NA and then there's the Meriva so it depends on what needs doing to either zed to drop at Zedworld or for economy use the Meriva ! Funny thing is that the TT and NA both return abbout the same mpg on a run that long.....
  3. So, for HIDS Does that mean they have to be removed for the test, What if someone bought the car with them in ? And what about 99 spec JDM with no washers ?
  4. When I'm driving form Yorks to Warwick and back for work I have to fill it twice a week !
  5. Lets do the timewarp again !
  6. Best Go for a clean JDM and get it undersealed.... That'll prevent rust issues in the short term.... mpg a lot different if going round town than if driving on the MWay..... Long drive on MWay in a TT or NA can return up to 30mpg.... round town if it's busy stop start, stop start etc you'll be lucky to get about 15mpg
  7. That sounds reasonable if they are going to do a complete set up taking 2 hours.... It should be laser straight and perfect when they're done If You're in Aylesbury I'd also give Elite Tyres a ring they're in Barking so not a million miles away from you. They have some very good laser kit and give before and after data for you
  8. Probably in equal amounts the way the car looks and then instantly How much did that effing cost !
  9. P'raps the Japs thought it wouldn't break down!
  10. It's a flat shaped projection running front to back About 10 inches back from the bumper on the passenger side. If you've got the undertray I think it pokes through that
  11. Bit of an expensive way of getting a veilside kit though !
  12. Bloody raining, very heavy drizzle ! Still it might wash some seagull pooh off the cars !
  13. I got one like that and it has the bleed nut on the left unlike some other cheaper Chinese ones Got mine from from a place in Sheffield
  14. can sidewinders be fitted to a zed ?
  15. The MOT still requires that you have an illuminating switch to show that it's on......
  16. If it's an auto there will be switch with A/T marked. The power mode keeps the car in the lowest gear possible to give max performance, but the kickdown will switch it into this mode. The hold is really used to hold it in the highest gear possible for starting in snow and icy conditions to prevent wheelspin etc On the gearshift itself there is also a switch which is used to engage/disengage the overdrive feature of the auto box. If the switch is in the 'out' position it also lights a warning light on the dash The speedo problem could be the converter chip if it's been converted to mph from kph... some are more prone to not registering at low speeds than others Power steering... could be fluid low or a slack belt No rear fog ? How did it get through the MOT ? Turbo whine could be that the turbos have been updated ro roller bearing which do have a tendency to whine at higher revs Hope this helps
  17. leave the window down until you've done everything
  18. Don't think the intercooler helps with engine cooling....... But as said above, go with bigger cored rad and upgrade the side mount intercoolers
  19. I switched from sky - because they were shafted by BT at the local exchange and are currently building their own for mid next year to Talktalk and Haven't had a problem with them at all. One thing from experience, are you using a cable to connect to the router or wireless ? If it's wireless you could be having a channel clash with neighbours. If you've got a smartphone, Android I know, iPhone probably there is a smart app to download called wiEye which analyse the wifi spectrum around you and identify every router and tell what channel it's on. If there is a channel clash then you can change the channel on yours..... It's quite easy but if you want to know how pm me
  20. Years are a bit out or else they're only doing UK Market Mine Cobalt Green metallic and 1995 JDM but you have to click 1996 to get that colour for the zed Otherwise though, very good site to find a colour if you know the manufacturer
  21. Hi Jeff Don't know but I'd rather watch it live.... and sky sports output is usually quite high quality so it should be a good show I can just pay Sky of course, but it would be an expensive way of doing it because I'd only watch the F1.... don't watch Footie or Rugby etc
  22. AS F1 is going Sky next year....... Anyone know if you can get sky sports for free on a satellite decoder sourced from abroad ? (not trying to put you out of a job JMWUK) Just looking at options after the pub landlady was allowed to use a Greek one
  23. It only happened to me when I closed the site and then it had disappeared.... maybe you never logged out of it Craig
