Thought these were standard on women :nelson:
  2. I know I have posted this before but want to check one thing, if the 02 sensor reads 0 on conzult is that - To much fuel - over fueling or Fuel unburnt - ignition Am I trying to find a fueling or ignition problem? To recap the ECU/loom/02 sensor are not at fault.
  3. I am speaking to the company that are hopefully going to copy the templates I am making for the manifolds to see if they can make a jig so they can be made again. That way other members can get hold of them if they want, I'll keep you posted. There will be more updates to the project this week. :smash:
  4. Would save me alot of work if it was true but it would also depend if they were able to point in the correct direction. The LHS side needs to point to the front of the car.
  5. Are an Welsh members going to the show as it is only just over an hour away? I am there working but we could still organise a convoy there especially as there is a tunnel on the way :hyper:
  6. Does that mean I've got a long wait for mine  I wish
  7. New faces is always good, if we can get the regukars out it'll be a decent sized meet. Left to right Anthonyd, Ashtones, Chris 300, Project Stones, Glenn, Tubz.
  8. I can get good power from the one and if the turbo breaks I don't have to take the engine out to change it:tongue:, it's been done on all the other jap cars so why not a Z? besides I like a challenge and to do something a little off the wall and different.
  9. The two water pipes for the heater/turbo feeds are going to have 25mm cut out so they and the exhaust can move closer in to give more clearence.
  10. It was a good meet up and enjoy good company and food. This should be first of many and hopefully they will get bigger. The next event is Japfest but we will have a meet a few weeks after that I think, we are looking at karting or a run up the Beacon to give the cars a gengle run:rofl: Between the snow, parking and the fact 1/2 the people were in Z's and the other 1/2 were not due to them be broken or awaiting MOT/paint! there aren't many pics. I do have a vid of the 2nd tunnel run but tbh it wasn't as good as the 1st when Glenn and Ashtones came screaming past, the noise was awesome!!
  11. The project in well and truly underway :smash: Today I finished fabricating the template for the drivers side exhaust manifold, taken about 3-4 hrs but I am happy with the fit and the shape - I think! Pictures are posted and before anyone moans about the welding they are rough tacks and I am not a trained welder  I think the path around the back of the engine will just squeeze in I hope as it flows nicely to the passenger side. I am about to start on the drivers side which will be tricky as it has to run along side the feed from the passenger side before the meet where the aircon pump sits. The turbo arrived today to, it's big and going to be a squeeze to fit in :smash: I will keep adding to the thread and my ride as it progresses.
  12. Did you post as there is no sign of it
  13. Injector were fitted to the engine already, have not used the old ones. Just wondered if a air leak some where would cause it. Also is there an earth for the 3 injectors that side? Going to stick some injector cleaner in the tank to.
  14. All the wiring is new, connectors all cleaned when the loom fitted and have tried 2 ECU's
  15. Just had a trial with the sensors. When I connect the left 02 sensor to the RHD wiring loom plug then the conzult reading for the RHS drop to 0 When I connect the right 02 sensor to the LHD wiring loom plug then the reading for the LHS ik stays around 0.16 on idle. So the loom is ok The ECU is ok The LHS bank of cylinders must be running lean Any ideas what can cause this? Something to do with the air intake system or the turbo or a valve of some kind? Anyone help before I go mad :confused:
  16. See you lot today then, if anyone needs to get hold of me number is 07900 240893
  17. Not worth it for a 4, maybe a 5 or 6 but not a 4. I'd hang on.
  18. PM me you number and I'll text you the plan mate.
  19. No, just dropped the complete engine manifold and all.
  20. They are standard injectors and I cleaned the connections when I fitted the new loom. I haven't had the manifold off since I dropped the engine in. The engine that came out had a melted piston and two damaged valves on the same side, I haven't used any engine parts from the old one but could it be connected. If it reads normal then drops down could there be a blockage in the rail or something?
  21. I thought if the sensor detected it running lean on that side then it increased the fueling? In your font of knowledge what would cause it to run lean on the one side?
  22. If that is the case what can be do to stop running lean before it kills the engine?
  23. Still no joy, I have fitted a new loom as well as a diferent ECU and 02 sensor and still the same thing, starts at 0.30v and drops away to 0 !!!:headvswal:headvswal:headvswal
