So I dropped my new 18's and tyres at the local tyre center. I leave the guy 2 x 8.5x18's 2 x 9.5x18's and 2 x 265/35/18 2 x 235/35/18 Called back at 5.30 to collect and what has he done? Yup fitted the 265's on the 8.5's and the stretched the 235's on the 9.5's:rant: His escuse, well you left the 235 tyre on top of the 9.5 so thought you wanted it on that rim- and this guys does it for a living:shock::headvswal

Out of interest how do you do the leak test?

So far the car will have Wiseco's 550cc injectors Aftermarket ECU and will run 400bhp@12psi and 500bhp@21psi I am concened the OEM H/Gasket and stock rods won't cope when I run 500 on the odd occasion!

What sort of boost pressure can you run with wiseco pistons fitted and standard head gasket and rods, is 12psi ok? If I want to run 21psi are we talking eagle rods, wiseco pistons and cometic H/G. Obviously there will be different management, 550cc injectors as well.

You can get cover for this, while my car was garaged I was quoted about £120 per year I think. Give your insurer a call.

The feedback I've had from a few people is they are good tyres and they have taken a beating and been fine.

just had an email confirming my new Marangoni Mythos Tyres will be delivered on Thursday, I've got 225/35/18 and 265/35/18 for the back. Means I can fit my ADR wheels which have been patiently waiting in the garage since last August :hyper: I will post some pics soon!
