  1. Happy birthday you old git!! :D
  2. You need to start doing cardivascular to burn off fat. This covers the stomach muscles which is why you can't see a 6 pack.
  3. Apart from Eagle and Carrillo can anybody suggest another company that make forged rods?

  7. Not yet mate, this is from when I bought her as a non runner hoping it was electrical and turned out to be a f**ked endinge so had to swap the engine - first job I'd ever done on a Z. Dropped the heads to Jimmer this week so the single turbo job is moving along nicely!
  8. Anyone tell me where the fuse is for the radio? Is it one of the two fuse boxes in the engine bay?
  9. Well after all the hard work to get the car back to working from it's sorry state (until I take the engine out for the new one) all I had to do was wait for the paperwork from the DVLA. Yesterday it turned up so got my tax and put all the bits back together and gave her a good clean. Today I headed out with her for my 1st proper drive in a ZX. IT WAS GREAT! What a drive, turned a lot of heads, so comfy and goes well to but didn't push it to hard tho;) The car is looking quite nice now so hopefully see you at Japfest with her next week!
  10. Think JimmyTT ordered a load for his rebuild.
  11. What time are people thinking of heading over? Is everyone thinking of an early start?
  12. I will have an autobox available in a month or so that is reading no faults.
  13. Dump valve and blow off or pop off valve are the same - all dump air to atmosphere. The other type is the re-circ which as the name suggests re-circulates the air back into the inlet system.
  14. Here's a suggestion for our first policy decision, reduce fuel duty and cap manufacturers petrol and diesel prices. Recon we'll get in with this one!!! Have a few more to win the rest of the working population over.
  15. Info off my J plate JDM 2+2 Colour trim 673G Colour 296
  16. Sent all the bits off today to Janspeed to be copied :hyper:
  17. So far we have Johnyboy Buddha Chutney Tubz (maybe) projectStones Dai Anybody else? Please add names to the list
  18. I guess you owe me a few :slap: See you at Japfest :hyper:
  19. Can anyone tell me if the 02 sensors are the same on TT cars from 1990 onwards or do the change on later cars, also are the non turbo ones the same to?
  20. What is the lifter stuff called?
  21. To any Welsh members in the Cardiff area there is a black EVO 9 FQ400 used as an unmarked traffic car plate is **06 DBD. You can see the lights in the front grill quite well, you have been warned
  22. Never thought about that, good idea mate. Only thing is would be difficult to find something for the manifold flanges and joining them and to make it 100% solid. Also solid enought to support the weight of the turbo in position without any help. But see where your coming from, would of be ALOT easier.
  23. All the bends will be smoothed out, with the sheer amount of cutting and welding already to smooth bends would have doubled it. Janspeed have the machines to bend tube so it's easier for them.
  24. Comments welcome, the exhaust will be fully covered in wrap to keep the heat in as it helps keep the pressure up to drive the turbo. When the PS is fitted there is quite a big gap.
