  1. Probably in the next two weeks, only for 1 day as will bolt the clutch in place even if the engine isn't going back in.
  2. As above where's the best place to get one or anyone have one I can borrow?
  3. I'm sure there's a trader on here who can help :ninja:
  4. If your Z goes can I have the hard pipes back if you haven't fitted them as would like to get the kit sorted for a few people on here?
  5. Some may know and others may not I have a 200sx VG30DETT project and a 300zx project on the go, the 200 is miles ahead of the 300. I had big delays due to the weather and now the weather is good I can't work on them. I spent bank holiday in hospital needing emergencey surgey and I am still unable to do much, anyone able to help with a day or few hours help with the project? Have a crane and just need to unbolt 4 bolts from gearbox, lift the enfgine to fit sump and exhaust manifold/turbo plus a few other jobs. Sounds worse than it is as there is loads more room for a VG in a 200! Just gutted I'm losing time while the weather is good and falling behind. Plenty of tea, biscuits and bacon sarnies available!!
  6. Working through the loom for the S14 conversion, we are working out what we need to keep from the engine bay loom (from D/S fuse box all the way round engine bay, main fuse box and back in P/S) Problem we have is all the wiring diagrams we have found the wires are different colours to the loom we have, is there a site with all the versions and anyone know why they would be different?
  7. Nope, that's the egr feed which needs blanking off.
  8. Had the custom sump made for the S14 transplant, 2 questions 1) Does it need some baffles, the capacity of the reserve is 3ltrs and I will run an accusump so will possible track oil starvation be a problem without any? 2) How much oil to run in the car, sump reserve holds 3 ltrs and would like this to stay as full as possible so how much extra to put in to allow for oil circulating through the engine/tubs while running?
  9. Anyone guess whats different about it?
  10. Probably at worst get a letting saying it was noted you were over the speed limit in that area please drive carefully within the limits. Their readings wouldn't stand up in a court of law.
  11. Result, I can only guess they offset the power against the better handling/quattro ssytem weight? I would suggest you get the quattro model if you can, much better drive and safer with the quattro system.
  12. Wife had one for 3 years and apart from 2 coil packs it was 100% reliable. Cam belt at 60k and yes instrument panels can be dodgy, listen for clunky suspension to. Have you checked insurance on the 225 quattro? It was cheaper on the insurance for us??? They handle much better and are a better drive.
  13. Email what you want done adecaux@sfsperformance.co.uk
  14. I used EVO calipers with 350Z discs on project 1, I'm sure I have a drawing of the bracket somewhere, I'll have to have a look.
  15. I shouldn't of been there really, found it difficult standing back and not being 'hands on' I did get a *****cking off the wife for not resting enough. I didn't see any members really apart for Marco, Mark Kent and Tubz so maybe like you everyone thought I would be home resting, just can't stay away!
  16. Was a great show, for us this has been the most successful show we have ever done. It's always good but yesterday was a record. Thanks to Mark Derby and Tubz for the lend of the Z's as mine is still in bits!!
  17. Finally made it home about half an hour ago, few issues with the wound but tbh there's nothing the hospital can do compared to the district nurse when packing it. I just have to grit my teeth for 5 minutes of agony where ever I am so told them I wanted to come home. Hopefully 7-10 days and it'll heal without any complications.
  18. Si, was it who ordered red hoses? Been trying to get hold of you for a while as they were ready?
  19. Facebook in sig below or search Anthony decaux Twitter is SFS performance
  20. Finally got theatre at 4pm today, no idea what they've done but lots of padding and dressings but had eased the pain a lot. I'm hoping that's down to what they've done on not the pain relief, be a bugger if it comes back once it wears off. Still tired after the full anaestheti, guess I'll find out tomorrow what the found/chopped or removed and when I can get home. Has spoiled the work planned on the car this weekend!
  21. After struggling for a week the pain was to much last night and was in agony, writing this from a hospital bed ! Went to the hospital this morning and I've been kept in, need a trip to theatre to sort me out, haven't eaten for 29 hours or drunk for 14! Still the morphine is helping, be back soon I hope
