  1. Well hacked off lol. Little old dears car hardly has a scratch on it either. Looks like a new wing & bumper and a bit of spraying. If ever there was an excuse to have a 99 spec bumper :) How much you guys reckon this will cost meh?
  2. I have one used you can have cheap! It's from a 95 TT though. Drop me a PM.
  3. Saw your car on a flatbed truck this morning coming off the feeder over the lock gate. You had no tailgate and the wheels were in the boot!!!
  4. Aye opie said it would be ideal. Certainly smelt & felt the same as the stuff that can out. Quite a weird smell too.
  5. well i did mine the other week using silkolene boa90ls from opieoils. On the jspec you can`t really overfill it as when the oil starts to drip out the filler hole that`s when you know your done! Car on the level etc. Slippery stuff too that oil.
  6. Well an update. As mine arrived a few days ago. Fabric is as described, nice soft lining and tough waterproof outer. Fits spot on basically..!
  7. Defo is fading interior lights cos mine do it too :)
  8. oh I didn't think the ecu measured boost.
  9. Given Nissan cut costs on my 95tt by not putting the boost gauge on the dash clocks why would they bother with the following: Weird huh? I was certain that the sensors were located at the back of the engine bay by the brake fluid reservoir.
  10. I flushed with acetone. pour it through then i covered the barbs and shook it a lot. drained it out and blast it with a blow gun on the compressor!
  11. hahah :D i did check i was clicking the right link lol
  12. Cool nice one. I just bought one as well now. £55 delivered. The eBay one - Hopefully it's as good as the seller says it is.
  13. Bummer. It's some dudes chopper with a minigun in his exhaust!!!
  14. Crotchrocket? How much did that tint job cost ya? Certainly looks like a spot on job.
  15. 8.7 litres it says on a TT in the big manual. Even more if you fit an after market cooler. In the end I went out for 5 minutes, checked the levels while the engine was idling, did this three times. Looks overfilled with the engine off but it does say check with engine running.
  16. Well i'm chuffed to find out that it was indeed the battery! Popped a new Varta 75amp in there and sorted :)
  17. u sure its got enough oil in? I did mine about a week ago, put in what came out but I was still 900ml short. Very hard to read the dipstick too.
  18. I'm not sure, it's going to be a messy job though :) I would say a big oil drain pan and loosen just one corner?
  19. Going to be fitting one of these exhausts tomorrow, reckon I should be able to squeeze in the ammo boxes up behind the bumper somewhere :) http://uk.youtube.com/watch?v=Z40YBU4GEXs
  20. Its a laserline 996T3. Weird how it's been wired in. I unlock with the fob and get in. Key in ignition click 2. then I have to press the remote button again and the stuff comes on. Weird. However I think I might have found the cause. Battery reads 10.1 volts with everything off. As soon as the key is in the ignition the bat is giving power to: The cars electric's Carputer (90w psu), lcd, usb gps, usb soundcard, obd adaptor. 2 Alpine v12 amps. I don't reckon I'm gonna be cranking the starter with that lot and 10.1volts & this colder weather :) Alarm weirding out because of it. Had this before on my 306, work done on it mechanically & electrically by me and I would not start the engine. Starter made a weird shuffle noise. That battery seem fine as it was putting out 12volts (i'd charged it up) - but it just wasn't holding it. Took me a week of evenings to work out the battery was just a gonner. Battery is charging so here hoping it's as simple as that :)
  21. Yesterday the car was fine. No warning lights on etc etc. Today I gave the insides a good vacuum and a gentle wash. Went to go out for a spin about an hour ago but couldn't because: I disarm with the remote. Put key in the ignition, and turn it 2 clicks. ABS light stays on. Turn key again to start engine and bloody alarm goes off instead!!! Now too theres a loud buzzing noise too from either behind the engine or under the battery or behind the nearside wheel arch liner. Somewhere around that area!   Any ideas ?
  22. I am in need of some oil for my differential! What do you recommend? Edit: I'm thinking Silkolene Boa 90 LS might be the stuff?
  23. Forgot to mention that, checked the ones in the footwell & the large engine bay one - all ok there.
  24. Posted a little while back about issues with my main beams. Well it's gotten a little worse now. I fitted hid's to upgrade my dipped beam which is fantastic. So I did the obvious and compared the new hid to the main beams. All fine. Ate some food and decided to go for a spin, no more high beams at all. Does this sound right? (lights are on dipped, 2nd click on the pod control): If I pull the light stalk toward me to flash mains I can hear a relay clicking in the engine fuse box. If I push the stalk away to lock it on main beams the relay does not click. The main beam blue dash light no longer comes on. Bulbs are not blown. Arrrgh what to do lol?????
  25. Yeh was definately short, warmed it up and checked on idle - had to put in another 900ml of fluid!!! Damn hard to read the dipstick on the autobox. Works spot on again :)
