Cant you get wiseco forged piston's from smithy's???? I'm sure they're around £400 a set but could be worth a look into! Also, how long ago was the clutch done? Might be worthwhile looking at that since the engine's gonna be out anyway!

Also, are the tension rod bushes hard to change???

ok, another query i have.... Whenever i apply my brake above 40mph, i get a bit of a harsh shudder. I thinking along the lines of warped discs, and since i dont know if it's the front or rear ones, i was looking to change them all.......just to be on the safe side! Anyway.....i've EBC discs and mintex pads on zcentre and just wondered what experience people have on these????

if there's gonna be a lot of us heading through, could it maybe be worthwhile starting a convoy somewhere????? Just a suggestion mind!

so, berrica, you gonna let me into the secret of which body shop your getting your car sprayed in??? I've just found out that the garage im getting the arches touched up in, wont do a full body respray for me........wot a bunch of w****ers!!!!

dinnae worry about it mincey, mine aint getting painted........just getting the rear arches rubbed down and de-rust-ified!!!! The respray aint happening until later on in the year!!!!

so, your saying that i shouldnt b putting it in for an mot because i already know about the emissions???? See, the thing is though, when i first asked for help about the overfuelling on here, people told me that the emissions are negligable on a car made before 1992 (Cat Converter Regulations) so i'm not too sure if the mot tester will let it slide, or fail it anyway!

see, i would.......but im working away from home just now and i was going to see if i could get it put in for an mot and find out what it fails on! Have you any idea if they're a pain in the a**e to get to....i.e. to replace them myself????

Ok, it's MOT time and i think it'll fail on the emissions, because of the overfuelling...... After learning that the previous owner run a conzult and came bk with code 55 (which i believe is no faults), he thinks that the problem could lie with the o2 sensor(s) (not too sure on if there is one or two). I was just wondering if anyone knows where i could get my hands on them, preferably without going straight to nissan!!! Cheers for any help!!!

cheers scrawni, i dropped it into a convo i was having with my mate, so it looks like i've got someone to split the costs with!!!! wooohoooo!!!! I reckon, going on 20 mpg, it'll cost me around £150 on fuel!!!! but hey, thats the joy of owning a zed!!!!

guys, is "billing" just outside northampton???? I'm working in lancaster just now and finish up the week before so i was gonna take the following weekend off and come down...... Bit of a trek i know, but it'll be worth it!

ok, this might sound like a really daft question but it needs to be said: Will these valves fit onto the 300zx, since the website said that they are for the s13 (which says to me 200sx!!!!) Also, will the 300zx fitting kit fit onto these valves???? i.e. will the fitting kit connectors fit onto the inlet/outlet ports?

where can you get them from? Smithy's?
