ok, this might have been posted before but i'm after a bit of info! I posted a thread a while ago about a shudder when i brake. I got some replies about worn tension rod bushes. But, me being nieve, i thought it was warped discs and spent £450 on new discs and pads! Anyway, i've now decided to go in and change the bushes but i thought i'd uprate the suspension at the same time! My questions are: Has anyone had any experience of the KYB AGX Adjustable struts that smithy sells? Does anyone know where i can get a decent set of lowering springs to go with them? Cheers

depends on which boost controller you get buddy. Alot of folk go for apexi avc-r but it's down to personal preference! And the fitting / setting up depends on where you take it / cost of local tuning garages!

Is the offset 30 on all corners??? i know that sounds daft, but i'm not sure about how the wider back wheels affect it!

I'm 21 yr old male, maintenance technician, no ncb, drive another car regularly (zed weekend car), 6000 miles annually, 1 conviction (6 pts and cd30) TPFT on a multicar quote with admiral and they gave me £727 for my zed! Where do you live? i live in a small village, so that might have something to do with it!

yeah, i think you would! And since the plod have taken a statement, they're more than likely to inform the council! But i suppose it all comes down to what you plan on doing with the car, in the long term! I mean, if you were planning on keeping her until she (eventually) dies, and you could live with having it classed as a class c write off, i'd go through the insurance. But if you plan on selling her on......most people would be put off buying an insurance write-off! All in my own opinion, of course!
