wot sort of sizes are we talking about? I'm hardly a "wee laddie" so i'd need them to b pretty big if you go with it! Anyway, fleeces, t-shirts and baseball caps would get my vote if i was allowed to vote!

Guys, I've just stumbled across a nice set of 18's. But anyway, my question is: Will i need to get the speedo re-calibrated because of the size difference from the standards?

cheers. I got a snooper when i got my car from car from mrsimonto but i'm wanting to get it fixed. I was driving along one day, at the legal speed limit, then the speedo went round to where 200mph would b, and sat there for about 3 days!!!!

hmmm......funny this one. I have the same problem except mine works when it feels like it. If im going at 30mph, it'll read 30mph, then a minute later, it just drops back to reading 0 again. Is this a common fault?

i ken this might sound pretty daft but where is Chatelerhault Country Park? I might b able to make it, depends on my work pattern at the time!

cheers simon. So since fault code 55 is showing, would it make sense to change the o2 sensors? or get a check done on them anyway? If they're goosed, where will i get a new one? Anyone on here sell them?

See, the only problem i have with fiddlin with cars is that i have a tendancy to do more damage than good! I want everything on this car to be perfect so i'm willing to let some garage go it....even if it may cost a bit!

can ya? I didnae ken that! How do you do it? Can you get those "things" from hellfrauds and plug it to, to get the codes? Is there somewhere on here that says wot the codes mean? And since we're on the matter of fault codes, are they listed in the owners/haynes manuals???

Simon......nah.....not yet! That snooper that you left in the car comes in a treat!!!! I just thought it gave the speed reading.....didnae ken that it alerted you to the speed camera's too!! GOD SEND........pure GOD SEND!!!!! And erm........i've just had a thought. Would nissan be able to sort out my problem? I know it seems like maybe an expensive option but i'd pay it than go away and change loads of bits to find out that they haven't had an effect!!!

ahhhhhh.....so thats wot it is!!!! Just for my own info, wot does the ptu do? I've asked a couple of guys and no-one at my work seems to know!!

erm......simon????? I was told that he had changed two of the coil packs and the ptu but he never said anything about them being in my possession. I've looked all over the car and cannae see anything........ So unless simon knows where they are, i dunno if i can help u buddy!

carl, thanks for your advice but surely if we connect up the datascan, and the fuel pressure regualtor is sticking, it will show up????

Sorry, for thread jacking this but, while we're on the topic of smoking other cars. I was sitting at on the a1, on friday afternoon. Stuck at roadworks! An integra DC5 pulled up behind me and started revving his engine.......thought to myself "he wants to play!!!!" So we went for a little run and by the time i got to 120mph, the integra was a fair distance back......then i had to slow down for the roundabout. All i can say is, YA BEAUTY!!!! I was well chuffed!!!!!

John, i'm not over that way on a regular basis but i would b more than happy to come over especially if you'd b willing to help! Erm, the cash flow is a bit short just now, my work made a c*ck up of paying me, but it should all b fixed out buy this weekend, HOPEFULLY!!!!
