Hell NO Vin!! As an 'auto to manual' bod, my torque converter, even reconditioned, was still a PITA!!! Stage 3 clutch, 5 gears, loads better!!! :) Drove her to work today and even though the clutch bites instantly, its fookin awesome!!!! Forgot how quick my zed was, at least 600bhp!!! :rofl: :x:

That sounds liek the guys from TSL motorsport, the scooby specialists...the shat rear spoiler gave it away!! :D I bought my clear rears off him.....cant remember his name now, Neil or something like that...

I've got a spare engine too up on a stand ready but I am gonna work on the engine in the car, and then if the heads are warped, see what the spare ones are like..... Whichever way I get it done, I'm doing myself which means it will be done properly.....no offence to garages, I just like the peace of mind knowing that if something goes wrong, its my fault and no-one elses....at the end of the day, we all make mistakes....but rest assured, alot of time will be taken to make sure its all done right... :D

Yaz If you think about how much time it takes to tie the cars down and then get them set for the run, £25 for a club run isnt bad at all..... I might be interested when the time comes.....

Same happened to me, I am just about to finally change the headgaskets, check and re-ring the pistons and have the head pressure tested. All standard stuff really......The cars been running with a dodgy gasket for sometime now!! :( Just never got round to sorting it....
