Hi Jeff, I am back from Cyprus tomorrow night and was wondering if you managed to get hold of the steering coloumn surrounds (top and bottom and whatever screw are needed) and also that carpet part you mentioned under the surround near the pedals. I will call you thursday morning after a good nights kip wednesday, I need it believe me! Hopefully, the fault I have is the problem with the coil packs (thanks BB members for your assistance) which I will check when I get up on thursday but I will call you all the same to see if I can pay you a visit to collect the surround. FIRST night out in the 300ZXTT and something goes wrong. The car sounds like its not firing on all cylinders and it happend just after I was racing an Audi TT........and the power has gone too although when you get up to speed it seems OK?!?!? Not good, not good at all. Has anyone got any ideas??????:( :( :( :( They way I look at it, the car should be able to take a rag every now and them, thats why I bought one, so I need to get to the bottom of this.:(

Hi guys, Finally after a few months of waiting I have my 300zx TT, well worth the wait. Had a nice long drive back from Brighton, although it rained all the way soI diddnt really get chance to open it up fully. Bring on the sunshine! Let me know what you think! DO I have upload problems?:confused:

Thanks for the info guys. I am in Brakcley, just north of bicester and below banbury(OXFORD). I went to Worldwide Motors in Newport Pagnell on Saturday mornig to test the manual UK red TT again, and I just wasnt impressed. The garage did admit that it wasnt running right!! Its done 120K, is this alot of milage for one of these cars? He also admitted that the engine had been changed recently but when I asked for the pasperwork he said that its around somewhere, mmmmm, l was a bit dubious at this point. ANYWAY, he has quite a few 300zx's in so I then asked to drive another red 300,this time it was cherry red, lowered, import, twin 5"pipes (NICE!!!!) automatic so I knew what it was like to driver one. As soon as he started it up I was smiling. It had been stood for 4 weeks and started first crack and sounded the TITS!!!! The drive of the auto really surprised me, its actually quite cool and this time when i floored it, it scared me!!! WOW!!! Thats what I was looking for, a car that is more than my rover and thats what I found...definately, it went like a jet!!!! So, the UK car defintely isn't running properly...... Thing is, I want to get some of the carf on finance to leave me with some cash to mod the car slightly, but I've been told that most finance places dont like covering jap cars, is this true?

Where do I begin? Well, I currently have a rover 220 coupe turbo. Its fast, very fast, but I wanted something more but still in coupe styling and something that wasnt going to get me in debt for 10 years, HENCE the 300zx. I have test drove a manual 300ZX TT and wasnt that impressed? Its a red UK car with 120,000 on the clock, standard, and the boost was reading just below 14psi which I presume is correct, but I diddnt get the same kick as I did from the 220 coupe when I first drove that?!?!?!? Whats going on? The guy at the garage said that maybe the car isnt running 100% and that he would let me have it for £6000 as it stands. Its a 92 'K'. A few questions for you? Is £6000 for a manual UK TT about right? What the heck is NA that you guys keep talking about? My insurance is currently £720 F+T on the 220 coupe and they want an extra £80 for the UK manual 300ZX TT, which I was pretty impressed with, BUT!!!!!!! I really want a black UK manual but I think my odds on finding one of these has to be minimal, isnt it? So, I got 2 quotes for a 300zx Manual TT import from Tesco and Firebond and they both qoute around £1400 F+T. I am 25, 2yrs no claims, 6 points, 3 for a TS20 and 3 for a SP40, car would have a CAT1 and of course would be in a garage overnight, am I being ripped off for the insurance? I have never had a prang or claimed in my life (touch wood). As I am new guys to the world of Jap cars any help you could give would be well appreciated. I am a reformed RS Turbo owner who now can look at no other than the 300zx, its so so so sexy!!! Please feed me your knowledge before I buy a bad car and make a mistake.....:confused: :confused:
