Well two couples let us down last minute in Grantham so we left Carinas and came back to Melton, with the intention to get changed and then go clubbing! We got in, and then after 10 mins we sat on the sofa and looked at each other and said 'fook it!' lol, went and fetch a ruby murray so had that, carinas asleep on the other sofa!! DOH!! Isnt Network key another word for WEP key? If you havent configured the WEP key, which you can do by typing in the IP address of the router into your web browser followed by the port number your using, then you can check tose if the WEP key security is turned on, if so, turn it off unless you have secure data on your PC/Laptop. I dont bother with mine, nothing worth stealing! ;) It may have had WEP turned as and a password configured as standard from the manufactuers.

To be honest Mark I am not sure about the difference between the looms for later models, the best people to speak to will be one of the traders in their section (See main page), they'll have more experience with different looms. Mines a 1990, although I fitted another loom from a later model and all was OK, a few wires on the ECU for my boost controller were a different colour but it works fine. I've never heard of this boost sensor so I cant comment on its location, sorry. Those two pipes your referring too, a picture will help, email to me rs2000turbo@yahoo.com, or tell me the diameter of the pipes and directions. The only pipes up that end of the engine that I can think you can block off are the pipes to the vacuum tank for the brakes, thats normally done for someone wither wanting a firmer feel to the clutch or if the car has gone through a conversion, Auto to Manual. But then if they were blocked off, that means the vacuum tank is already there?!? Hmm, a pic will really help..... Cheers, Mark.

lol, yes mate this is a bitch to get out. You have to remove the dashboard and then the air con components in order to reveal a metal circular plate that forces the ECU loom down towards the ECU inside the car as it passes through the bulkhead. Remove this panel and hey presto........The dash is easy to take off......

Really sorry to hear this Clarkey, I can empathise completely after suffering the same loss 2 1/2 years back. My condolences to all your family, remember, he's in good hands and he'll always be looking down on you... :) RIP Mr.Clark RIP :(

Peach, I had a Tomcat before the Zed, nice car for what it is, dont think I could have one as a main car again though. Was bloody quick for a FWD car, surprised many a BMW driver....obviously the zeds in a diff class....

I have read through the JWT write up on the VG30DETT and they do praise the standard spec, the only reason they upgraded internals was for reliability of running a 500bhp car day in, day out. Whether this was needed remains to be proved.......Inconel :bow: This would explain why I have got away with 20psi quite a few times and its all been fine, not det, nothing and quick as fook! :shock: I am :shock: 'd at them using the stock transmission for that JUN car!!! :bow:
