Well dropped the car off saturday and Jeff thinks that if it is one of those pipes at the back, it should only be about £45 to get it replaced. Apparently theres a small piece of rubber piping between two braided pipes which are prone to going. If this is so, its a really stupid design!??! So I dont think the whole engine is going to have to come out.:)

LMAO @ poor pixies!!!! Well its booked in with Jeff @ zedworld tomorrow so we'll see how we get on.:)

Hi Pete, Well *thoretical* speed was 166mph or as close as, I went over a bump and the car moved in a way to make my bowels move so I came off the pedal!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Best speed yet though!!!! Got from Wellingborough to Coventry in 40mins, not bad going! The A14's a really cool road too! Only used 1/4 of a tank too!!!! Only running standard boost too at the moment as I wanted to bed the new turbos in for 6months. Its nearly time to turn it up! Or maybe I am just asking for trouble.:confused: Adam: Yeah I know, no luck with the car but I guess the new engine, turbos and ghearbox should hold out for a few miles yet so no big big expense left! (TOUCH WOOD)

Well guys I am back with more problems on the Zed, but I guess these are my own fault for testing out my top end on a certain M road!:slap: Well, I have water leaking from somewhere, when I look under the car, it looks like is coming down around the gearbox area, any ideas???? Could I do this or anyone help me??? Also, a metal rubbing noise coming from the front drivers side which you only really hear when you go over a speed bump or a rough road. And also a fuel leak from the round funny thing that sits on the left hand back side of the engine with 3 pipes connecting to it which should be easy enough to sort. ANy ideas on any of these guys??:confused:

Use to happen to all my old CVH lumps, different engien I know but to pop the dipstick up, gotta be rings, so much pressure getting through and burning oil whilst moving is a sure sign!:(

I like both, I have an auto but I wish I had found a manual (I think!) Had my autobox rebuilt about 2 months back, cost me £1200 for a full standard rebuild. That reminds me, I gotta take the car back for a cheque up!!! Bugger, gotta dash but I do love the auto, well, love the whole bloody car to be honest!:D

I may be mistaken and just trying to help out you guys here, but I am sure I heard somewhere that these bushes absolutely f**k our zeds up. Cus there oldish cars and cus of the size, they cant take such a stiff ride and start to crack and fall apart. Bloody sure I heard this somewhere as I was gonna do mine and I was told to avoid this like the plauge!:confused: :confused: :confused: :confused:

Paul, I think that you are missing the point about what zcar is saying. If the block is in a V shape then how can it run off one cam?? Must be one bloody big cam!! Or does it mean one cam per six cylinders?? But that would make two cams.:slap:

I knew this thing was turbocharged, I heard both of them when he caned it past me! But I wasn't 100% so I kept my mouth shut!:rolleyes: Stoopidly fast cars......I put £40 in my zed every 3-4days, imagine how much this facking thing costs to fill and what return you get, cant be good with 12 cylinders, thats just greedy!!!:eek:

The CL600 has to be petrol, there is no way you'd get 800lbs of torque from a diesel, not a chance in hell, not this generation anyway!:confused: Can you really get 500bhp from a v12 N/a with no supercharger or anything??? Imagine then if u put turbos on it?!!?!?!?!?!?!?!:eek: :eek: :eek: :eek: :eek: :eek:
